<p>Does anyone know whether the number of applications for Villanova's class of 2013 was up, down or constant from its Class of 2012?</p>
<p>My question is because I was told that there had been a substantial change in 'Nova's applications this entering class from the prior year. Can anyone confirm this?</p>

<p>I think that i remember reading in a article from the Phila Inquirer that Villanova’s apps were down about 14%. It was the highest percentage of any school in Pa cited in the article. I think I remember reading about it on a thread in another spot on CC-(College Admission forum??), but I’m too lazy to search right now :-)</p>
<p>We were told by the admissions office that the # of applicants has declined in each of the last two years.</p>

<p>I heard the total applications were down only 500 from last year, but they are still expecting about 45 students more than targeted. I believe the rising sophomore classes had over 15,000 applications.</p>
