novelty ID

Where do people get "novelty" IDs?

lol, please. like anyone is going to tell you in a PUBLIC FORUM.

PS: welcome week leaders are trained to not answer this question, too

just figured I’d try on the off chance that someone random and chill would humor me :)

I don’t mind that you’re asking, just be a little more discreet, at least. lol.

What are they?

novelty ID = fake ID

This thread makes me laugh every time I go to it :P

Why would possibly people want to get fake IDs?

Uhh-Hmm…

Bar-hopping for underage individuals? Only my guess, :). I also cannot believe this thread.

Olzhas is an international who may not be familiar with our laws.

Olzhas: To clarify, the legal age for drinking alcohol in the U.S. is 21. Many students find that fact to be an obstacle to an active social life so they purchase a counterfeit I.D. that states their age as 21 or older. This is a common, though risky, practice that does not change the fact that underage drinking is illegal and that there are consequences if you are caught.

Now I get it. It’s understandable why students want those IDs, but still it’s too risky I guess.
