The deadline was November 1. I realized on November 5 I like this place and would try my luck if it wasn't past November 1 already. Should I still apply?

I'm no superstar (I mean I am otherwise, but) GPA - 3.55 SAT - Writing 680, Math 590, Reading 560. Lots of good ECs. A couple of passions. Very passionate I am. I'm also international. Studying in an American high school.

Should I still apply past Nov 1?

Honestly,
You passed the deadline by several weeks…
If you apply now, your application will be placed on a virtual standby status were only the best applicants will be offered a spot and I’m 99.99% certain yours won’t make it…

Try UCF / USF / FIU / FAU

Not only is it too late to apply, but it’s very hard for OOS students to be accepted without a hook (athletics, high stats, etc).

Since your stats are average, your chances would be quite low

@mom2collegekids: Call up admissions. OOS students and in-state students have the same chances, however much less OOS students apply than in-state. It’s a popular misconception that UF admits in-state more because they’re a state flagship school but it’s not true. Almost like saying OSU applicants have a better chance if they are instate when in fact I know people here at Florida who got into OSU and they were OOS; they didn’t have superstar numbers themselves (doesn’t mean they aren’t superstars)

I’ll be honest, applying past the deadline makes it harder to get in because you go on a space by space available basis. However, I WOULD still apply because students past the November 1 deadline DO get accepted. It doesn’t hurt to try; make your application look amazing, show yourself as a leader/innovator.
