Does anyone think it’s a bad thing I thought math was hardest and vocab/reading comp were easiest?

Nope… you just have different strengths. It might be a slight disadvantage if your math is too low though because reading and verbal are both “english” type exercises so if you have low math but high reading and verbal it might not be as good as if you have high math and reading and a low verbal. All in all though it is alright.

No, I mean I’m good at math but I know I missed a few and I skipped like 3. I’m guessing I got a low B in math, a high B in reading, and an A in vocab. It’s just it worried me when everyone was talking about how easy they found the math, when it would have been better if I had a calculator. I get the concepts and how to do the problems, I just can’t do them in my head.

I’m taking them tomorrow!!! ahhhh D:!!! so nervous

Good luck!

Thank so much Markalex1!!

I survived!! they were not too bad :P

Hey all - did anyone get their scores yet for Nov test?

@meckla3prepesque,
Not yet, but I think a week they’re supposed to come a week from today.

I just got my scores today. Can anybody tell me if they are good enough for an 8th grade male with all 99’s and 100’s who is an accomplished pianist, violinist and violist to get into the schools like Exeter and Andover?

Verbal Score 773
(Personal Score Range: 752 - 794, SSAT Percentile 96%)

Math Score 794
(Personal Score Range: 773 - 800, SSAT Percentile 97%)

Reading Score 749
(Personal Score Range: 728 - 770, SSAT Percentile 98%)

Total Score 2316
(Personal Score Range: NA, SSAT Percentile 99%)

… Yea 99% is the highest you can get. Good Job!

How did you get your scores already? Did you get them via regular mail or did you like pay for the faster delivery/e-mail?

I got them by email just like 30 mins ago.

OMG they’re coming today?? Jesus, I’m so nervous.

Only if you ordered the e-mail delivery it seems. If you did the basic order then you will most likely receive them Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday depending on where you live.

“A free copy of your student score report will be automatically mailed to your home address. For an additional fee, SSAT will report your scores by e-mail ($20) or FedEx ($35). Note: this is not a rush scoring service; scores will be released on the common release date.”

With this is mind I assume they mailed scores out today or will mail them out tomorrow.

Wow. I just saw my scores. Did AMAZING for me personally over 100 points overall better than on my practice tests. Congrats to JWGibson269 and good luck to everyone who will be taking it shortly!

@dramaswimmer,
Congratulations! How’d you do? I just found out that my parents have the standard thing so I have to wait a day. Has anyone else got their results?

I did. 94% overall.
Individual scores not so hot though.

@cassat,
What were they? They can’t be that bad, you had a 94%.

Math- 78.
Reading- 78.
Verbal- 99.

I honestly don’t know what happened.

@cassat,
Well,schools look at your individual sections so… yeah. But I got in the 50’s on the math last time and my scaled score was a 710 so I can see you scoring high. Also on the reading I got a 700 and I got in the 80’s. Still, congrats on the great verbal score, don’t be discouraged!
