We have stopped discussing already, haven't we? ;)

So finally, how well did you do ? ;)

is 740 good enough for ivies? Is there any point in retaking?
btw chem 730
math 1 770
SAT Math 800
CR 770
writing 690 (will be improved in a few days, hopefully)

740 is very good. However, if you believe you can score 800 next time, go take it. Otherwise, don't waste your time.
Your SAT I scores are excellent already. You don't have to worry much about your SAT II scores. ;)

what abt :
SAT reasoning:
cr-620
wr-630
maths-770

subjects
physics-790
maths-800
chem-770

should I be rewriting SAT1 as well as phy and chem????

i'm taking SAT1 this saturday, no expectations to improve....

Your performance is best represented by a score range. The score range is an estimate of how your scores might vary if you were tested many times.

To consider one score better than another, there must be a difference of 60 points between your critical reading and math scores, 80 points between your critical reading and writing scores, and 80 points between your math and writing scores.

Most of the time, your score would fall in a range about 30 to 40 points above or below your true ability. Colleges know this and they receive the score ranges along with your scores.

Why would you bother retaking Physics and Chemistry ? Your scores are already in the top 10%.

would the colleges only consider my phy and maths2 scores, those which ask for two

for everyone who took the Physics SAT 2, can you recommend a book to study from...P.Review, Collegeboard, Sparknotes? I am taking AP Physics B as a senior and will not have covered everything by Jan 27 test date, so I need a book that can recap a lot of information and not just quiz me on it. Also, planning ahead, which book works best for the AP exam?

i am no authority on APs but Sparknotes was the sole thing I had for my Physics SAT

BEST of Luck burmell

burmell, When I took the SAT II I only had two months of AP physics in school, and I never took first-year physics before. I got a first-year textbook from our teacher and looked over it along with Princeton Review(afterward I felt PR is a little inadequate, they make you think the test is easier than it is. so you might want to get another prep book). It worked pretty well with knowing the terms and stuff. But since it sounds like you've already had one year of physics before AP, you might not even need the textbook. it just worked well for me with knowing the terms and stuff.

If a college asks for only 2 subject tests, it will mainly consider your 2 best subjects.

Eek.. I'm taking it on Saturday. I have about tonight and tomorrow to prep (PR). Who else?

is there more than 1 version fo physics test?

nvm..... november
