<p>the p1 author’s language is very natural. and kind of humorous.</p>

<p>Hey what did you guys put for the “fell in love @ first sight” question from the governess passage? I think I put that it suggest a romance affair between the two?</p>
<p>I think it was what other people had done before…cuz it was mentioned in the passage that the elder sons at the homes where she had worked before had also fell in love with her!</p>

I think the answer was something like “to emphasize his importance.” It was a pretty straightforward question.</p>

this was my first time taking the SAT and i couldn’t tell which one the dummy was!
o and how’d you guys think of the SATs???
i personally found the vocab and essay kinda hard…
and math…well i’m terrible at math anyways…</p>

CR wasn’t particularly hard. The maid passage was kind of obscure(curse those old British novels), but wasn’t much of a problem, by comparison.
Writing was harder, I think, but I don’t care about the Writing Section. Most schools don’t look at it anyway.
Math was a bit trickier… Maybe it’s just that October Math was too easy.</p>

i dounf that to be the hardest of the CR section…
the rest was ok though…

<p>Till now I have 1 maths wrong, and like 2 CR wrong!
How about you guys?</p>
<p>So far, I found that I’ve missed “sparing” and “glib.” But I’m sure there are several more I didn’t check. so I guess about -5 on CR.</p>
