<p>That would be nice if this were true for this month’s!</p>
<p>I found the test absolutely brutal. I am near-fluent at French and have received letters from the principal examiners here in the UK for my perfect scores at A-Level, but the exam formats are clearly completely different. I was expecting there to be at least some time between the questions in the earlier sections to allow me to write, but it blazed through them so fast that even though I knew the answer to many of the questions by the time I wrote it down it was halfway through the next one.</p>
<p>The reading part was alright. Is the curve generous for this? I suppose I can throw my hopes for an 800 out the window. How many questions can you get wrong and still come in over 700?</p>
<p>I posted about a minute too late to see that set of data. Anyway looking at that I hope I can scrape a 700, I seriously messed up the listening section. Good luck to everyone!</p>
<p>Thanks for the curve post; I looked through these threads and apparently this was the same exam as the one given in Nov. 2007. Unfortunately, they didn’t discuss it very much lol.</p>

<p>Those listening passages were really weird; what did you guys put for the carousel and 2 boys one?</p>
<p>There was one in grammar about sitting down to picnic somewhere by a tree. Was it “the shadow”?</p>
<p>Ok, for the one about the carousel, I put something about the boy (like I said, the quality was horrible and if there was another boy, I didn’t see him) really enjoying or having fun on the carousel. It was the only one that made sense to me.</p>
<p>As for the picnic one, yes, I put that.</p>
<p>For the listening one about the traveler’s check, was he receiving euros? And for the other listening one about the people at the open-air market? </p>
<p>The one listening passage about the painting completely confused me by the end of it, seeing as I didn’t seem to have heard her say which way she decided to paint the scene. What did you do?</p>
<p>For the listening about the painting I put that she was going to paint the landscape (le paysage) through a window, or something to that effect. As I mentioned above, however, I think I really messed up the listening.</p>
<p>Oh, darn. For the carousel one I don’t even remember the options, I might have put something about the kids being scared? If that was even an option. The picture was so dark I didn’t see anything. And I put the 2 boys were putting back markers, not playing cards, though the pic was soooo bad.</p>
<p>I said he was receiving checks because he was giving the checks to the bank person.
For the market, I said there were a variety of people? </p>
<p>I said she liked the countryside view for the painting. </p>
<p>I didn’t really understand that Tristan passage, lol. What was the jongler’s attitude, etc?</p>

<p>But like I said, the painting/countryside one completely confused me. I think I took the stance that she was inside the house, painting the vase with the countryside through the open window. Therefore I said the vase interested her the most? And the kind of flowers?</p>
<p>Hmm, yeah probably, I think I just misheard ‘feutres’ for ‘feuilles’ or something lol, so that’s the one I put.</p>

<p>I’m so annoyed about “argent” it sounded right to me and I must have erased & rebubbled that question about 3 times before I settled with the wrong answer :(</p>

<p>Ehh didn’t go too well. I accidentally bubbled in about 15 answers 1 question behind - as in I skipped a question but I was bubbled in the answer for the next question in the bubble for the previous question. I ended up wasting 2 minutes rubbing out and re-filling answers, and had to miss 3 questions at the end because of that…</p>
