Is the pv graph on isothermic or adiabatic?

I remember point E or something was in the same position as point B or C.

I put the one that was isothermic. I think it was C or something.

EDIT: Isothermic = Same temperature = same average kinetic energy of the molecules, so I assumed same internal engergy.

can anyone just sum up their answers for the velocity vs time graphs at the beg. of the test?

For the question about rising points on a wave:

I think point D on the wave is rising. Point A is already at its highest point, and the other points were nodes which don’t move (but all this is assuming that its a standing wave). If it’s not a standing wave, then I don’t know if D is the right answer.

Nope, I’m pretty sure it was a traveling wave. There was an arrow pointing to the right that indicated “v”, so I assumed it was moving to the right.

I remember it specifically said travelling wave. I made sure it’s not standing wave

was C the one that was traveling right across the line?

mhm…

CRAP.

Also there was the one with 3 charges separated equally. There were 2 positives and one negative in the middle. There was a “net force to the left” and it asked “which charges are affected”?

I skipped that one because I had no idea how to do it based on the wording of the question.

Does anyone remember what the very very last question was?

It was only the charge on the right

Yep, I put the charge on the right. I think the answer was “only III” or something.

EDIT: Does anyone remember if the isothermic question (about constant internal energy) C or something else? I hope I didn’t misbubble, but I saw C as the transformation that moved along the isotherm. I hope it wasn’t an adiabatic transformation I was actually seeing.

No it asked which charge had a net force to the left, not which was AFFECTED Lol

Pv graph was either C or D…I hope I didn’t misbubble either!

Screw me. I can’t believe I read the question wrong argh.

lol the SAT always gives me this misbubbling paranoia…

Hahaha me too!!

oh i put protractor for that…
i was thinkin about that student using a protractor to measure the angles
i think im wrong now that i thik about bout it.

Ahh, what was the answer to the question about the scuba diver seeing the bird on the cliff from underwater?

I think I put that the bird would appear lower than it actually was since light bends away from the normal as it moves out of the water. Not sure though…

@ sci-fry thats what i put.

also, there was a question on what can store charge and i thought it was capacitor
