November 2009 SAT II Physics

Bump-- anyone have anything else to say about this test?

Anyone remember the question about magnetic flux? It gave points A, B, C, D, and E in a field and asked which one had the greatest amount of flux through it.

Also-- for the water/bird problem, I think it was that the bird was closer? I just took a glass of water, held my pencil on the other side and it seemed closer than it actually was.

[The world above the water surface, as seen by a fish](<a href=“The world above the water surface, as seen by a fish”>The world above the water surface, as seen by a fish)

-bird is higher

Bird is definitely higher. Is the magnetic flux you are talking about the one where the points move in clockwise in a circle? I put E for that

That’s the magnetic flux one. I don’t quite know if I got it right (I dont think I did lol) but can anyone still shed some light on what the right answer would be?

and where can I find more practice tests for the SAT II? I used the official collegeboard one, the two PR tests, and the three sparknotes tests. any ideas?

ill be really sad if i dont get in the 700s for this test. i always tend to get lower than i expect and this year im applying to college =[

for anyone who has taken the physics sat in the past… do you think this will be a more harsh or more lenient curve?
