November 2009 SAT Math (US only)

okay there was one triangle and supposely there was another triangle in the triangle, but they shared a vertex. Similar Triangles. They gave you that one side of the larger was 18. And one side of the smaller was 6. It said that the base of the smaller was 3. You use porportion to find the base of the larger triangle. The answer was 9.

what was the answer to that absolute value thing where m is a constant?

the number itself had to be prime, too, though, right?

i dunno. cuz I think i put 8/x but i am not sure.

I had a question that showed two overlapping triangles and a third triangles which their overlaps made. I was asked for the area of that third triangle. Experimental?

torrek, it wasn’t mentioned. it only said the sum of the numbers was prime.

ok yay. i put four.

march was an answer?

Was the thing about prime numbers experimental? I didn’t have it.

302

995

6-x (something like this…)

nonoverlapping angles. there was 72 angles. it said what was the 1+13+ 23+ 33+ 45+ 67=. The answer is 30 because if you divide 360 into 72 angles, each angle equals 5 and to find the sum of the 6 angles you multiply 5*6=30.

what was the experimental? does anyone know?
i’m guessing seciton 7

4 sections of math and I didn’t have any of these questions…

MATH WAS OD EASY. sure i mad some careless mistakes though

JSharpiro take into consideration that you might be international

I’m not international…
“Math was OD easy” hahaha

same thing… i had 4 sections of math and i had nothing about like this 995 prime thing…
i had how many prime +1 numbers are there between 30 < x < 40… which was 2
some answers i had:

multiples of 3 = 36
6 dog to owner
1/rad16
(1,3)
(-3,4) for point D of sq
(5,6)
40 min classes
2^a+b = 16
600 for 3 yr membership
x+x/3 = 27
circumference was 36 or 32
area of shaded part of rect with 2 circles = 8
perimeter of little square = 8
for the line with point 1 and x is 3x-2
|x-46| lessthan equal to 4
4 socks to get a pair
1/3 marble
II and III for a^2b^2 thing
more than 3 points in common for lines
line m is perpendicular bisector
slope thing k = 9
2 rectanagles with each area of 14, x = 5
triangle in a tri side = 14
20 for something
pi/8 for shaded part of circle
balls in cube = 15 or something
only one
$2 taxi 2 mins
thing to add to get avg is 1.6
5 for square
110deg
180 students for piano only
x/x+3 answer is 2
m < p^2

free response:
71
1200 trucks
8
k = 9
1.75 slope
5/6

damn i also zoned out and put 9994… i don’t know how i read 1,000 as 10,000.

but yes the answer to PQ was 9, and yes, the 6 out of 72 angles summed up to 30 degrees.

tbonus - i didn’t get any of those answers. different tests?

is there two versions of the test?

what is this 72 angles questions?? and the prime thing was that a free response?

For the last grid in problem w/ the K constant, what did y’all get?
