November 2009 WRITING (US only)

^ I put E as well.

Does anyone recall your answer to the final question (about walking in the Andes)?

C was (words to the effect) requiring walking…
D was (" ") and so…

i think i chose
and people have to walk one…

Yay! Overall I think the writing mc was really easy. The essay prompt was really stupid though, and I ended up using MTV cribs and ANTM as my examples. Do you think they will look down on my essay because of the not literary or historical examples even though its really well written?

No… I got a 10 last time and didn’t use any literature or history.

I thought Writing was not that easy. There were some really tricky ones on the 10 min. section. Like the human activity destroying habitats one…

@dreamwharton:

I put the same… letter D

to mufune,
hope we are all right!

I don’t remember the Andes one… .brain… hurts…

20 (or 21) and 29 I put E, anyone confirm on this?

Me too!

I spent the most time I ever have on Section 10. I used all ten minutes. My brain was slowly diminishing since I rechecked answers to avoid careless mistakes (I have never rechecked before), had a fairly difficult week in school, and was going on little sleep.

hey, I had a writing section on 4 and 7. anyone know which of those were experimental?

I thought the last section was ok. For #14 the last question the answer was something like … “of people” i think.

I had the other for Section 2.

CrossTheUniverse I am not 100% sure but having two Es around those numbers seems familiar. Was this the passage about facial expressions triggering emotions? If so, do you remember getting A around 7 (improving the sentences, so A would be equivalent to no error)?

mifune, for the Andes one I was between A & C but didn’t really feel confident about either of those. I don’t recall answer D sounding like that, but I wouldn’t be surprised if I got it wrong. I put C (thus requiring walking) and then changed it to A (requiring walking.)

CrossTheUniverse,

I believe it was D. and so people… You may be alluding the right answer.

yeah, so people. thanks. I have a really bad short time memory.

two cats and their TAILS. plural

question on the essay: was Romeo and Juliet an adequate example of how individuality is good?

what was the answer to the q:

if confirmed, this evidence could be blah blah…E?

Does anyone remember the question about the Chilean trees growing 2 to 3 inches every year?

Was that question associated with the facial expression passage?
