Any one taking Physics this November? How do you guys feel about the test?

left 3 blank >< . The test is not as hard as october but is still got some quite tough questions

whats the curve like?

SOOOOOO much easier than October… I had like 20 minutes to spare at the end :

what do you think 10 blank would come out to assuming everything else is right?

pianoman, 800.

then lets hope everything right haha =]

i thought it was hard as ****… how did you guys prepare for it? i took a physics gt class last year which didn’t even cover like 50% of the stuff that i saw on it, currently taking physics ap mechanics, but i didn’t know any of the magnetic / optical stuff… how should i prepare for the december one?

^ yeah, there was a lot of magnetic stuff… but I thought it was kind of odd how there was like absolutely nothing on mirrors/lenses :

when can we discuss? There were a lot of odd conceptual questions!

i think you can discuss, then math threads been going for a while^

dang, I can’t really remember anything anymore… there was a question about light and driving at night on a wet road vs on a dry road?

ahh i hated that one… i put that more light reflected away from the driver when its wet which was choice (E) i think but i guessed?

how about the one with larger telescopes more brightness?

i left that one blank haha

I put that the greater diameter gathers more light.

Regarding the car and rain question, I said that the light is reflected more uniformly without rain, but I’m not sure if that was correct.

I thought I did much better than October, although I’m not sure if that was better testing strategy or easier test.

I guessed B for the road one… and I think for the telescope… I put E? I can’t remember the answer choices for either of the questions though haha :

oh and for the question about white light going into a prism, what was the answer?

What was the response of choice B?

ahh I’m sorry, I really can’t remember, I think it was something like the water refract/deflects the light more…?

but yeah, I think this test was way easier than the October one :

E was, it gathers more light thus increasing intensity or something…

i put that as well

for the white light, i put that white light goes in and gets refracted as white light… it doesn’t disperse into colors
