November 2010 SAT - Math

Damn I hope I get in the high to mid 600’s :(.

no way it was asking for the greatest i read it over like 4 times…can anyone confirm?

Thanks gensis! Good to hear.

yea, greatest for sure

It was 1008, not 3008 though. Maybe you had a typo.

One of the answers was 1008 and one was 308.

did we have the same question? the question as i remember it was x<y then what has the least value
narrowed down to:
1/3^x or 1/6^y

9841? DAMN

i put 1489 must of read wrong… ?

Did anyone have one where its like:

x^2 / y^3 = 2

whats (y^-3 / x^-2)^3/2

did you get 2root2

They have to decrease from left to right… I didn’t really understand the question ( international student)
I thought that I can use 16…

Darn, I read wrong than. :frowning: Dang silly mistakes.

yes gensis :)

can anybody tell me the question where the answer is 109? i cant seem to remember that question/answer and im kinda freaked out.

Malv–you have it completely opposite.

It was x>y and asked for greatest

I don’t remember that x>y thing.
I’m guessing it was on the experimental?

I think that might’ve been the experimental. It was on the test with two consecutive math sections.

im pretty sure I had 2 straight math sections and didnt have the x<y question

My test was a completely diff version from your test pchs and yumme

@eagles: Really? I had 2 straight math sections and I got that one.

Ah, yes, it was a typo. Sorry for that - I meant “1008”. That was actually one of the answers I changed at the last minute when I realized I made a mistake.
