November 2010 SAT - Math

wait a min, i thought D was confirmed for the dice. How is it A? can someone explain or post that same exact question from the pdf

OH MY GOSH A CC CONSOLIDATED ANSWER WAS WRONG!!! UNBELIEVABLE. YOU GUYS AREN’T SO PERFECT AFTER ALL /sarcasm

It’s A. You can argue about it all you want. The answer is A. I am not just saying this b/c this is the answer on the pdf file but because this is answer i came up with after repeatedly imagining the cube in my head. No way in hell it can be D although it’s a good second.

what’s the original wording of the question?

"The figure above is folded along the dotted lines so that the designs are on the outside of the cube. Which of the following is a view of the cube that would result?

The question isn’t as important as the pictures provided are obviously. I don’t know how to give you the pictures without putting up a link of the file.

No not that question, the two digit set one

i don’t feel like writing it out anymore. Im going to bed. Peace out dogz

Why can’t you put up a link of the file though? What will happen?

urghh i wish i could actually see what the dice thing looked like

The dice thing was A, wasn’t it? I hate these stupid SAT questions. We will NEVER need to do anything like that.

Yea, it A sadly, i had that down first but changed it to D soo thats cool… So can anyone guess what 2 omit 2 wrong would be on math. Mayb above 700?

it should be above a 700…
i got three mc wrong and one grid in wrong (thanks to it being 45 and the dice question).
hopefully the curve isn’t too harsh. 720 isn’t my ideal score. :/

you know i think that college board should no gives all of us who take SAT I math on the nov. test day a 800.
why? because this is giving us an unfair advantage. some dude might have been using a 2005 practice test he had just bought and now is getting an 800 on the math section. i refuse to be a part of CB’s game. either they give me 800 or i say we sue on hte basis of improper testing material and sheer lack of responsibility.

lol! haha thats my initial reaction to the whole CB’s using the 2005 exam… lol!
though it would be cool if they did give us 800s and acknowledge their mistake :)

but i doubt that

No its not pchs10. Wedgedawg, me, and others have confirmed it is 45, because it asks for the POSITIVE 2-DIGIT INTEGERS in set S. 40 is positive, for example. Read it more carefully.

Also, read it very carefully before you try to argue with me.

*** guys? It’s clearly A for the dice question. D is not right.

anyone here want to petition to get another test for free??? cause its such BS that they would do this to us. what happened to the “equal opportunity to all test takers”???

I want to petition but I don’t think anything will come to fruition because they always recycle tests, and I’m sure in those instances in which tests have been recycled there is a person who has a copy.

such BS…

But they recycle tests COMPLETELY? I know they take bits and pieces, but the same EXACT test?

calm down gensis i’m not arguing with you.
and unlike you, I don’t have the test in front of me. I’m just going off from what I remember.

Look guys:
Since CB releases 4 out 7 tests annually, big prep-companies and private tutors give the other unreleased tests to their students. Therefore, the chances of those kids seeing that test is very likely.
Prep-companies and tutors ALWAYS order QAS, and that’s what they use to prepare their kids.
