What was the one about Polk getting the presidency?

Polk had an expansionist platform.

Guys, can we please get some questions I don’t remember many

I remember this one well, because I looked at it for a good three minutes:

Which of these was the most consistent issue for farmers from 1880-1950?

Labor shortages
Overproduction
Pesticide contamination
Excessive crop diversification
Competition from an int’l market

I’m 90% sure the answer to the farm question Idejen514 is overproduction.

Here is a list of questions I remember and hopefully we can solve them
- The third question was a quote…I wasn’t sure who said it. I remember fragments in the quote…it had the word “constitution” in it. The answer I put was Thomas Jefferson and something to do with his connection to the Louisiana purchase. What did you guys put?
- There was a question about the Harlem Renaissance. The answer I put down was, “It deviated from the norm” (not the exact wording but something along those lines of it being different)
- Similarities in political policies in the 1930s and 1950s? I put down aid to foreign nations…
- One question gave us a date and asked which invention was made after it. I’m pretty confident the answer was microprocessor
- The answer to the buffalo question was A. It said something about ecological protection

Another question that stumped me asked, “What was the significance of the Lewis and Clarck Expedition” …I put something like, “It allowed future claims to the land”

Hey guys, did you think the test was easy/medium/hard/very hard?
I remember some questions:
- Picture with Truman dressing
- picture about how to act in case of atomic bomb attack
- Which one of the following is correct about the first great awakening
- Which one of the following happened during the Eisenhower Era
- Quote from the Seneca Falls Convention
- Quote from Martin Luther King Jr about civil disobedience
- picture about buffalos
- New deal agency that dealt with competition
- new immigrants generally settled in which region of the united states
- Quote from a wife of an immigrant-most likely which group in which time period?
- Another immigrant question and it was like which group of immigrants does not apply? i think some of the choices were germans, irish, italians, etc…
- Lewis and Clark expedition
- Marcus Garvey, langston Hughes, booker t washington(?) all had this in common?

yolokid123 here are the answers to some of your questions

It was public roads

Influence from Ghandhi

Something about ecological impact

It asked for German immigrants and the answer is midwest

It was Chinese immigrants going to california

It was italian immigrants

Waiting for an answer to this one

It was something about black pride and nationalism that they all had in common

the wooman114,
for 13. did that choice talk about racism? or something race-related? i don’t remember the exact wording of the choice

Oh guys, and did Hamilton want to increase manufacturing?

It might have said something about racial pride but I can’t remember clearly

And yes increase manufacturing was the answer to that problem

thewooman114 , phew! I’m pretty sure that I chose overproduction- I remember learning that the inconsistency in the agricultural market caused serious issues for farmers. And to all the questions/answers you posted, I chose the same answers as you.

I chose “further claims” for the Lewis & Clark question, and I remember choosing “to increase manufacturing” for the Hamilton question because it was the only plausible answer.

And I remember clearly that the answer to the Marcus Garvey/WEB du Bois/Hughes question included ‘racial pride’.

okay, thanks!

Did you think the test was easier or harder than usual? I hope we have a good curve :)

awwww i think i put something about louisiana purchase for the lewis and clark one );

Same! I didn’t really take any practice tests, and I only studied the morning of, so I didn’t really have clear expectations going in. Immediately after, I felt that it was really difficult- however, my answers have so far coincided with everyone else’s posts. So idk! I don’t think it was easy, though, so it shouldn’t be a harsh curve.

Now that you mention Louisiana Purchase, I might have actually chosen that- I remember there was a seemingly right, but wrong, choice. I chose the answer that related to surveying land for the nation or the Louisiana Purchase, I don’t remember which. More details would help.

for the poster with directions of what to do in case of a nuclear attack, was that soviet union attack?
oh and for the first great awakening question, was it something about individual spiritual conversion or something? (i think it was the last choice)

Yeah, I put in case o a Soviet attack (but I kind of flew through that question), and I put something about individual salvation for the First Great Awakening question

alright,
for the seneca falls convention quote question, did you put a choice that was talking negatively about women?
and NRA for the new deal agency that was about bargaining/competition?

I chose the answer about men encouraging women as entertainers by their presence, but I feel like I was wrong. And I put NRA, but I literally guessed on that one, so my answer has no merit.
