November 2012 SAT Math Level II Discussion

Sorry guys, 2E1 too. My bad. However, I don’t know whether that short code (2e1) or the longer one (4icb5 in my textbook) matters

Mine was 2E1 too. I feel like garbage!

Math was alright. but chemistry was really really hard

I think math was alright but I messed up in chem :frowning: I really hope I get at least 700 on both. Crap

My chemistry went really well though. :stuck_out_tongue: PM me, maybe we can figure out some of the answers?

haha i dont have enough posts to PM. spamming starts now. (sorry guys)

here’s to another one

and another one. sorry

^ ganEntropy, our Chem test was same as http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-subject-tests-preparation/1281629-january-2012-chemistry.html</a></p>

It’s a bit different but some questions are similar… overall i dont think it was the “same”…

I think I did well on the math, but does anyone else think it was harder than usual? I’m judging it next to the official practice tests that I took, timed, and I finished 10 minutes later than usual.

Anyone think that the curve for an 800 will be different than the usual 44 raw points?

EDIT: I’m talking about code 2E1 BTW

^shibboleet
I had 2E1. I’m saying 43 as a cutoff score is somewhat possible. There were 2 tricky questions I think some people might miss because they were a little different than barron’s / previous tests. Also, 2 more were just trying to lead people another way and might be hard for a lot. However, the only 43 I’ve ever seen came from a test with logic and 4 possible tricky questions. Each question had under 30% getting it right. Lol if there was a 43.5 score I’d say that’d be the cutoff. But rest of test was easy. For me, I might’ve gotten a few wrong by misreading but that’s it. (I always get 1-6 wrong on barrons and 1-4 wrong on previous tests. Except for 1 logic question, all the questions I got wrong were stupid misreads or 1+4 = 3… rofl I’m noob like that)

When can we talk about answers on this forum? After the third testing is over in the West?

the type of math questions on the subject was different…
the us is out now. any questions bothering you? lets discuss

I mean I don’t think everyone is done yet just many on easy coast and few everywhere else. I finished my 1st/only test less than an hour ago so idk. lol I don’t want to talk first. Last year, we started talking right after the first test though.

Thx savethekitten lol looking over it all right now.

Well, I can’t edit anything for some reason… anyway I don’t think they discussed enough questions. But I got 2 wrong. Put 1 in wrong units and put 0.x instead of 0.0x into my calculator lol. Thank you Math 2 -5 curve!

I had 2E1 as well.
The test was surprisingly easy this time.

I had 2E1. I think it went okay… only a few that I wasn’t too sure on and I just had to guess after ruling certain answers out. Good luck to everyone else!

Can we discuss them now? I think all the West Coast people are in test center now.

lets discuss googogog
