@ juicygirl exactly… the I II III question following the first soil question i got I II AND II what did you get?

Did anyone remember the question where they gave mice with black/brown hair and short/long tails? was the answer black is the dominant trait or both parents were homozygous? isn’t it both?

@corallite
yeah I think I put that too! that whole section pretty much sucked :/

Also, those first questions were BS. crayfish have both gills and two pairs of antennae

the answer for the mice was that black was dominant. the mice were both HETERO not homozygous

ugh two of my friends got 800s last month and said this test was easy but i didnt think it was that easy at all

@corallite

ahh I think the answer choice said heterozygous I swear! but I put black is dominant so I guess that doesn’t matter now does it?

and the experiment with the limejuice and germinating seeds? what was the answer to the one where it asked why the first bottle was needed? was it for the oxygen?

I took E lime juice question wasnt on my test

Complied Answers

**=not unanimous

-have circular DNA bacteria
-crayfish have gills
-antenna butterfly
-2 germ layers hydra
-the oxygen product of photosynthesis comes from water
-plasma is mostly made of water
-biome with fires chaparral
-data least likely absorbed was urea
-vestigal organ in snakes pelvic bone
-plant diagram: xylem was on left, phloem was on right;
part in between gave rise to both xylem and phloem;
outtermost part on far right was for protection

-C6H12O6 cannot tell atom structure
-molecule Z came from pancreas
-anemone and clownfish mutualism
-rattle snake was snake IV
-Decomposer are important part of ecosystem
-homologous chromosomes separate anaphase 1
-the conclusion about the moths showed birds were better at spotting light colored moths
-the hypothesis about the moths was correct
-prokaryotes and eukaryotes both contain ribosomes
-humans cannot breakdown cellulose because we lack the proper enzymes
-sickle cell anemia is caused by abnormal folding caused by the wrong protein being synthesized
-diverse flora and fauna with high precipitation rainforest
-biome with permafrost, cold tundra
- had nothing to do with water moving up xylem soil pH
-Kansas Hill Shale’s (sp) and other location Hill Shale’s fossils showed that they had similar geological ages
-Snail fossils showed that rapidly changed in only 1 mil years supported punctuated equilibrium - graph of hormone was estrogen
-graph of hormone targeted uterus
-graph of hormone showed that hormone attached to receptors in cytoplasm that carried it to nucleus
-insects with enzyme and insecticide AA vs. aa I. ability to metabolize
II. survival from the spray; I and II only
-plants have but not animals plastids
-animals have but not plants centrioles
-water good solvent
-something about FSH, LH, and anterior pituitary ovary
-black fur dominate over brown
-snake venom would first affect the nervous system

*-very last snake question was 4
*-DNA to RNA

I found these answers from the previous tests
Not 100% sure if all of them are correct but sound familiar

about question where it asks about which one isn’t qualities of water, one of the choices was like “water has a slightly positive and slightly negative charge” isn’t that the right answer? water’s polar but it still has a neutral charge… that question made no sense whatsoever

wait for the C6H12O6 i got that you cannot tell the position of the atoms… it was structure? CRUD

@corallite

I also put you cannot tell the position of the atoms-Im pretty sure structure of atoms was not one of the answer choices…

@juicygirl was that the question for why the water moved up in transpiration EXCEPT ___?
I think it was the water is a solvent. And I think the slight positive/negative charges are what bonds the hydrogen bonds b/w each water molecules, thus making them adhesive to each other and wanting to pull together

@corallite yeah I’ll doublecheck on that one on the other forum

the way the question was worded was really confusing. I just picked the one that wasn’t true because water doesn’t have a positive and negative charge-its neutral charged. and water IS a solvent-minerals are dissolved in the water that the xylem transports

So far I know I got -3 not counting the 3 I omitted

@juicygirl I also put the negative and positive thing because like you said water is a good solvent.

I put that you can’t tell the number of atoms because C6H12O6 is just a proportion, which was an answer choice

what would be like 5-8 wrong, 6 omitted

Ok so im having trouble with the beginning questions:
It was like
Butterfly
Crayfish
Scorpion
Hydra

Has cephalothorax and abdomen but no antennae
Scorpion

Has gills
Crayfish

Has two pairs of antennae
WHAT WAS THE ANSWER HERE
4… Has body two cell layers thick
Hydra

What was the purple blue red question answer? I forgot the exact question

I said that there was incomplete dominance but that doesnt make sense
