***November 2013 - Mathematics Level 2***

Just getting it started.

Good luck to everyone.

Yeah. Good luck to everyone and may we all get 800’s !!!

just finished, international one! aaaaaarrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhh!!! I made a lot of stupid mistakes beside some of them I dunno how to do!!! Even chosen the wrong answer! And know how to do the hard question in the last minute!!! dunno if i could gain 700 or above :frowning: gonna retake it. thinking whether i should cancel the score or not.

Im just wondering. Will questions be posted on this thread? If anyone remembers stuff please do post it… Thanks !!!

Ahhh, it was so bad :’(
I left about 10 questions and I’m sure I must’ve made mistakes on the ones that I did as well. :(((

I skipped 4 and got a few wrong last month. Got a 790.

You guys will do fine. Good luck!

What did you get for the letters and numbers computer permutation → 5! x 10!/5! ?

Was probability of inclusive 1-10 sum greater than 5 → 0.8?

Period of the piecewise function → 3?

At last from 3 hours of hell

Are there different papers for International and inside U.S?

@testtake83 , that’s the international one. I’m pretty sure there’s a separate thread for that

Just finished. Thought it was moderately difficult, at least a little harder than the two blue book tests in my opinion. Some odd questions I didn’t really understand, but overall it was okay. Hoping for 770+.

I thought it was harder than 95% of practice tests ive taken. i’ve consistently been getting 800s with some to spare on practice tests but on this I left 6 blank and got a few wrong.

the one with her score being in the 80th percentile and 1 guy’s being 34th best and another being 5th best… that was not enough information. Which I knew but I stupidly said hers was in between :/

The timing was weird the beginning was hard and when she said five minutes I was only on 40… do any of you guys remember any hard questions?

@nooooooo i don’t remember a “not enough info” answer

I talked to my tutor she said it was not enough info.
I said that the girls score was in between Juan and the other guy. But i wasn’t sure because of a lack of information. We don’t know the standard deviation so his being 5th best wouldn’t necessarily mean it was better than 80th percentile.

@icyhotgel

I second the in between, but who knows, the question might get thrown out.

I chose in between.
But I think I was wrong. There were some hard questions towards the beginning… The one about the textbooks weight’s with the standard deviation… did you guys choose .1? i did

her score made her 32/40 (in the 80th percentile) which was between 6/40 and 35 or 36/40 (i forgot)

I did…

i hope you guys are right! @ders12
but how would you know her standing based on her percentile? i dont understand :(

I’ll probably cancel (again) bc my parents are adamant that i get an 800 so considering i left 6 blank and likely got 2 wrong the curve won’t give me that score…

yeah considering you don’t know the distribution, I think the answer is not enough info, should have read all the option choices but I didn’t.

for the systems one with the a and b, what did you guys get? rushed through that one so I’m hoping I didn’t make a careless mistake.
