Yeah, I think so. Can’t remember.

Omg, the r and s question! I couldn’t figure it out!

Omg, the r and s question! I couldn’t figure it out!

what did that one ask?

s = 9. could someone type the limit. i should have got that right too since I am taking calculus and we did limits for solid two weeks.

sgt gutter, it never hit the x axis. only two times.

if it was the pond(amplitude question) you had to multiply whatever was outside the trig function by two. 4.something

not sure if that was the question though. could someone help?

Wasn’t it like 7^6 = s + 10r? How do you figure that out? I tried plugging in the answers, but I got confused, so I moved on.

Compute 7^6. S has to be a number such that when you subtract it from 7^6, the result is a multiple of 10. They said s was less than 10, that makes 9 the only choice.

exactly. it was reasoning. they were both integers. so it was basically doing the algebra. what number less than 10 would make a number ending in 49 divisible by 10. 9

For the limit one, I got that it was boundless. It was 9/(x-3)^2. Something like that. I thought that if x was 2.9999 then the number would be ridiculously big

oh yeah the s and r one was 9. for the inverse thing i got like 8/x+3 or something. you just replace x with y and solve for the new y

@cardyboy nah. vertical asymptote. it was going to infinity.

Did anyone else get this for “If tan^2x=# then cotx=”

take the sq rt of the number and then find the reciprocal?

@SgtGutter - Yup.

YUP so 16 percent of us apparently get 800s on this test according to latest curves from last year. is everyone confident?

What was the limit one

@HBOUND You’re Right sin^2(x) + cos^2(x)=1

what do u think 800 is on this test because a lot of people are saying easy curve at the beginning of the thread but some were saying hard curve towards the end

if you get more than 6 wrong, an 800 is out of reach on this test. otherwise, 800s for all under that.

kk im at 5 wrongs no blanks

I thought this test was significantly harder than the practice test in BB that I took this summer. I stupidly didn’t study but even with that considered I got an easy 800 this summer and this time I struggled and omitted 5 and got at least two wrong. Hoping for -7 800

Idk how much I’ll get
I think I skipped around 10-12 :$

Was number 50 77.76% letter D? I only remember bubbling in D
