****November 2013 SAT Thread***

Hahah, got a 2110,

710 CR
710 M
690 W

My first time taking it, and regretfully, I didn’t put too much effort into preparing for this one; I just wanted to qualify for the National Merit Finalist award.

Looking forward to the December one, though! Hopefully I can break that 2300 barrier.

800 CR
780 M
800 W (80MC 10E)

CR curve as predicted.
Yesss I am done!

I see a few 800/800/740 guys up top. Well I’ll join that club! Hopefully I don’t have to take it and enjoy the last 2.5 years of HS without any darned SAT. But I reckon my parents or someone will make me take it again considering I got the same CR score 2 years ago so it should probably go up.

Good job to everyone…even if you didn’t get the score you wanted you guys still put a lot of effort into this!

Critical Reading seems to be harder. Math I can’t estimate the curve cause I’ve gotten 790+ on it the last 3 times I’ve taken it.

Writing seems to be an easier curve. I got 76/11

Composite: 2140
Reading: 670
Math: 770
Writing: 700

Oh well, probably have to take it again in January for that 2200+.

Just curious to those Black Book users, what was it like? Did you feel like you improved a lot?

I got a 1590 woooooooo!!! So done with this dumb test!!!:ddddddddd

congrats to you all… And no, you dont need to retake with a 2200… Lol.

Reading: 650
Math: 770
Writing 670
Essay: 8 :frowning:
Composite: 2090
Barely off my target score, but I’m gonna retake it anyway. Unfortunately I already used all of the blue book. What’s another good source for practice tests? Is the 2nd edition blue book different from the 3rd?

wow you guys all did amazing! I really shouldn’t go on here because I feel so inadequate. I got a 1930, 40 points down from the first time I took it :l math and reading both went down.

I got a 2150 for my first time. Normally CR is my best section, but I knew my score wouldn’t be that great after taking the test… I’m taking it again in January and aiming for a 2250+
M 800
CR 690
W 640

800 each on Biology E and Chemistry:D

darn

Math: 800
CR: 760
W: 730 (10 essay)

Total: 2290

T_T was expecting higher score
oh well, gunning for 2400 this June I guess

Funny thing is… writing for me is usually 780+ and CR is usually below 740. I’ve never gotten an 800 on math on a practice test either. Surprising results, these are.

This is my second time taking the SAT, and I feel pretty satisfied with the score I got this time.

Math: 800
CR: 780
W: 790 (80 MC/ 8 essay)
Composite: 2370

With my 800 in CR from last time, I have a 2390 superscore. :)

Congratulations to everyone who did well this time!!

thoughts on the curve? I thought it was pretty rough. one wrong on math = 770…

CR: 740
Math: 770
Writing: 760 (8 essay)

Total: 2270

I wasn’t really expecting to do well, only did 1 practice test before, and some quick skimming of a math book.
My first and last SAT, so glad all this stuff is behind me and I can enjoy senior year!

CR: 640
Math: 770
Writing: 620

Normally I would be happy but I am ****ed at myself since the 1 math question I missed was due to a stupid mistake :(

Wow, the rocket writing question is just like the release of/ release from question from the Oct test. Even with the internet and every resource in the world, we cant come up with a definite answer to what is right.

Anyways, what do u guys think the math curve will look like. Lets pray its nothing like that of the Nov test
