***November 2013 - US History***

So what did everyone think of the test? Any questions?

I think I failed. I skipped 9 questions
What was the answer to the Lyndon B Johnson question? About reforms?
And which two presidents were against communism? Was it Regan and Nixon?

I put Reagan and Nixon for that one, just an educated guess though

It was Reagan and Niixon fo sho.

US History was easy.

Literature… Not so much.

I think I did bad too…I omitted 4 questions and probably got several wrong. Praying that the curve will be generous and that I pull a 700+

What about the first question? City atop a hill? Opened the test to a question I didn’t know. At that point I knew I’d do poorly.

City upon a hill’s purpose was to create a model for other societies/colonies and influence others

^You are correct mister

Wasn’t sure about the novel question. But overall I thought it was okay – slightly difficult.

The reform question was the humanities and literature answer choice

There were so many obscure question…:(

I guessed correctly! Changed my answer at the last second for that first question.

Anyway, I thought this test was pretty hard. Just too many random things that arent taught often. Hopefully the curve is more generous.

What U.S. foreign policy term did the Photograph with the huge nukes represent?

@cardyboy

i think that one was massive retaliation

other stupid ones i missed: south carolina/rice, red scare/raids(iono…), irish riot in 1863 /draft
ugh omitted a lot too

I was very ■■■■■■■■ for the one with Standard Oil and Horizontal Integration. I said that John D. Rockefeller horizontally integrated his company in order to please TR and progressives. Wow lol .

South Carolina question was rice? I answered tobacco and I also answered raids for red scare.

And the nuke pic was massive retaliation. None of the other answers made sense.

I don’t know how I did arghhh

For South Carolina, I answered tobacco because I remember that they depleted the resources in North Carolina and then moved to South Carolina. I’m probably wrong tho

For the Life magazine picture of the woman with food, was the correct answer about the baby boom and domesticity? None of the others made sense to me.

South Carolina was rice. What was the map question with the bold lines that started in Texas?
