***November 2015 SAT (International Students) Thread***

Since the previous thread by the same name was taken out due to some ‘problems’, I’ve decided to start the thread again. With around 10 days left for the sat scores to come, time is running out fast. Do make sure that you abide by all rules and not post anything going against the non disclosure agreement with the College board

what happened to the last one…

Apparently somebody posted something which violated the confidentiality agreement or something. Don’t really know. Maybe spoke out against college board.

Guys let’s keep this thread alive by sharing our thoughts about what we expect to score this time and our dream university. .

I expect a 2160. What do you all expect?

Anybody has any idea about how the curve wukk be this time ?
I’m expecting
1 wrong in Math
7 in CR
And
4 in Writing with a 9 essay

Don’t know how much I should expect.

If the math curve is harsh (hopefully not ) 1 wrong is a straight 760
Your CR may be a 700-720
Idk about the writing tho

Idk what to expect either but I messed up in math this time …hoping a lenient curve would somehow help

I think the writing curve will be harsh, because the test was too easy. (both the essay topic and MCQ’s)

I personally felt Maths was difficult. It was certainly more difficult than the mock tests I gave. I did mess up my third 20-min Maths section. I hope the curve is lenient, can someone cross check it and match from the 2013 March US SAT Thread? My CR was good, I should not get too excited because last time it was pretty below my expectations.

Please do not repeat Old…This is unfair :frowning:

My hope… 2100 kk

Writing and Math went really well. CR was tough.
I think ill get M 760 W 720 CR 620

What do you think about math curve? I think math was really harder than tests I gave. Especially last section, i 1 omit or 1 wrong will be 800. I hope math curve will be letient

@trustnobody based on the march 2013 SAT paper (which is the same as the one we did in nov 2015) one mistake got you 760. So it will be a harsh curve

Anyone know’s why exactly was the old thread shut down?

I took this exam back in October 2013. (2015 Nov International = 2013 Oct International = 2013 US March

-4 CR 740
-1 WR 760 10 essay

CR -4

780 5%
770 14%
760 27%
750 36%
740 14%
730 5%

WR -1/10 Essay

800 19%
790 43%
780 23%
770 13%
760 2%

So, yes, the curve will indeed be extremely harsh, meaning if you had only missed 1 on the WR and gotten a 10 on the essay, you would still only get a 760, which only occurs 2% of the time, at least according to that College Panda calculator thingy online…

I expect a 1980.
;_;

As someone whose goal is to pass 2000, expecting a 1980 is really disheartening. But I’m basically around the 2000 range.

Oh my God, math curve will be harsh… I’m scared

I don’t expect anything in maths or critical reading. I just hope my composite score will be at least very slightly higher than it was last time.

Any idea when the scores will be out? Dont know if I should be excited or worried
