@goonbot - this is a test where many students’ scores vary by 100 points on each taking, so don’t be discouraged. Hats off to those very rare students whose concentration and focus does not waver over the course of this exam. Most of us have to re-take and superscore, (which helps us and the colleges we attend!).
Congratulations to all of you!!!..Can any of u high scoring people 2000+ score please help me by recommending certain books, studying techniques, and such I got an 1800 and I am really disappointed! I would really appreciate your help Thanks and have a great day
@worriestoomuch can u please share some ur techniques/shortcuts, studying books, whatever you deem helpful on the exam? I got 1800 first time and I’m very disappointed…Please help!!!

@Srivikram can u please list the steps u took in order to achieve that score?
I’m not sure if it helps you @krauser126 but my writing score was a 740 with MC 71 and essay 10.
Green Test Prep online course helped me a lot. It gives you some basic strategies but more importantly it teaches you how to get better on your weakness. @thenonchosenone . I scored a 2060 with a 750 in math, 690 in writing and 620 reading.
@thenonchosenone
Man, some of these usernames are just fantastic hahaha
I thought of changing mine after seeing yet another “I got only a 2300 on my SAT. Do I do ze retakez?”
How’s “ProlongedSigh” sound? Or TheSATshankRedemption. The SATenning. The list goes on!
2250!
740-CR
710-Math
800-Writing
So I kind of got really scared after the test and paid $80 to take it again…should I???
I guess I should be satisfied with my score… 800 in CR (btw I put excuse as my answer whether that means anything) and W but 700 in Math… and Math was the only section I studied for…
Anyone find that reading and writing comes very easily to them but they inexplicably score lower in math?
I’ve always been top of my class in math and am in AP Calculus now, so my significantly lower math results are a little surprising, especially since math appears to be the easiest for a lot of people.
CR 800
Math 730
Writing 740
2270 overall. If I got just a few more questions correct, that would have been a 2300 and I would be very happy. Next time though.
@SandrewP thank you very much!!! Do u happen to know what u got first time?
Thanks hahaha @AGoodFloridian
730 math, 800 CR, 710 Writing
I’m really happy about math and CR, but I got an 800 last time in writing, so I don’t know what went wrong. At least my superscore went to a 2330, but I’ve heard most schools don’t superscore. Can anyone refute or confirm this?
P.S. Answer was almost definitely “excuse”. I made 2 obvious CR errors, and if I made a third, my score would not be 800.
@ambitionsquared I’ve heard that most colleges do superscore though, since it’s better for their admitted stat report in the end anyways
710
660
690
CR 770
M 800
W 650 … I second guess myself a lot, especially in the No change questions. Darn!
Composite: 2220
So last January, I got CR 690, M 800, W 740, Composite 2230.
The composite score of my second test is10 pts lower, so idk if I should send it in or not. If I send colleges both of these scores, my super scores will be 2310/ 1570 (on a 2400/1600 scale). But I’m just worry that universities will look at my horrendous second writing scores and question my ability (I’m an international student).Or will they just super score it automatically and only pay attention to the 740, and disregard the 650 one?
Do you guys have any advice? Thanks!
@nangkhieu Send both sets. CR 770 is impressive for an international. You want to send that score in even if writing is a little low. Writing scores do bounce around quite a bit, especially for internationals. I have seen internationals bounce from 650 to 800 repeatedly in W. Maybe you got some idioms you didn’t know. Idioms are luck of the draw for internationals.
800 CR
800 M
800 W (9 essay lol)
1st time taking it (only did it for NMF anyway), I’m still in shock. Math curve must have been crazy good, because I’m almost 100% sure I missed a question, but I still got 800.
For what it’s worth, I got 790 CR and I put excuse…but lol just 1 question
