Good luck to all, anyone have some quick tips?
sleep early
Get all the questions right
English was easy, math was about usual, and reading was harder than usual
There were SO many on the reading where I was stuck between two answers
did it seem ridiculously dumbed down to anyone else? ive been prepping for months on khan academy and this was way easier than anything on there.
I think I got around -8 R -0 E and -1 M
Really? I thought reading was normal, probs messed up some writing questions, math was fine (but there was 1 or 2 weird no calc ones, but calc section was great so yay), and essay was good
For those of you who took previous administrations of the SAT, how does the November one compare in terms of difficulty?
Why isn’t this thread exploding? Usually there are tons of people on CC after any standardized test
Hey all! I took the test for the first time today and here are my thoughts…
Reading - really easy (-0-2)
Writing harder than the practice tests (-1-3)
Math really easy (-0 - hopefully unless I did something dumb :/)
Hoping for a 1550+
SAT Reading was pretty difficult, but am I the only one who thought the SAT Math was REALLY mixed? As in, half of the questions were too easy, but there was a couple questions which I genuinely didn’t know whether my answer was correct. As someone who has achieved 800 on Math Level 2 and 790 on October SAT Math, I was surprised by a few questions. If lucky, I should get an 800. If I made a few mistakes, then I would no less than 770.
@ObitoSigma How did you feel about the writing? I thought it was pretty tough, but I am generally good at it with my last practice test a 39(-1).
Writing was just as expected from SAT official and practice tests. It seems easy but I always make enough mistakes to end up with a dumb 35 score. As long as I get a 700 on RW, I would be satisfied.
I really want a 1500 this time, but I really don’t know how to feel about today. I guess we’ll just have to see!
Did anyone feel like the reading was way harder than usual?
I thought reading was pretty straightforward. I probably missed a few on writing and a few on math. Just hoping I improve on my 1510.
I thought that the math was much easier than Khan academy and that the writing was fairly easy except for 1-2 questions. The reading was comparablele in difficulty to Khan acad. (Still difficult for me
Thought reading was harder. Writing was easy for me (compared to by previous one). Math is always easy, but there were some weird ones this time. Think I got around 1500.
I just want that 1500 Does anyone know if the collegeboard ever curves the math section so that -1 is an 800?
