For the realm one I don't remember what I got but it wasnt any of the ones the you guys got, do you remember any of the other choices?

It was appropo .. anguished

i am pretty sure that the answer was either 1.5 or -1.5

for the cicle one the question said the ratio of circled in to not circled in was 1/4.

so i thought that meant one fourth was bubbled in? this one was very very confusing to me cuz i thougt ratios were liked number: number!

also, foor one of the low number questions a question said there is w,x,y,z.

wx is 3, wz is 9, y is the midpoint of wz, wz is 9, what is the length of wy?

i got that the answer is 4.5 but 4.5 wasn't an answer so I rounded to 5.

Help with that one please?

alright lol I guessed and though that apropos means appropriate. that's not correct, but I got it right at least

Going over the words in Direct Hits to jog my memory. Covet and opacity were also answers.

I'm 95% sure the answer was -.5, I checked with two friends.

For the circle one, the ratio of the shaded to the UNSHADED was 1:4 not the ratio of the shaded to the whole thing- it was a trick question kind of. Therefore, the shaded was 1/5 of the circle and the unshaded was 4/5 of the circle.

The one with "wx is 3, wz is 9, y is the midpoint of wz, wz is 9, what is the length of wy?" was 3. You misread the question. It was something like W------X-------Y--------Z and WX, XY and YZ were all 3.

The one with w+x+y+z adding up to 28 was 14. (4+6+8+10 and you add 6 and 8 together)

the chances of me getting higher than the 720 i got on my last sat 1 math are probably 1 percent.

also that question was so darn confusing ratios are usually like number:number proportions are usually with a fraction.

for the last question on the grid in did you get 1?

I got a 720 also last time. Where did you take them this time?

i was in fort worth

Cool, I was in NY.

Anyone remember any more math/reading ones?

i got for one cr question that paragraph 1 detailed an experiment, paragraph 2 was a personal sketch

also, "perspective" is of butterflies that were not the control group

also, what the guy found wrong with paragraph about woman's experiment was that her experiment had bad statistical analysis

the woman would respond to guy by saying that her theory was based on data she had gathered

the word was italicized to show the guy's big scope of his skepticism

charge= endow

paradise word question- the guy was feeling too much emotion to sum up in just one word as he went home

answer= intense pleasure

answer= half-hearted humor

has special name "planning design"- humans conscoiusly planned this ugly modern architecture

what would disprove assertion- factory workers worked in flimsy, unsafe factories.

did you get these answers?

"i got for one cr question that paragraph 1 detailed an experiment, paragraph 2 was a personal sketch"- ya I got that too

"also, "perspective" is of butterflies that were not the control group"- yep

"also, what the guy found wrong with paragraph about woman's experiment was that her experiment had bad statistical analysis"- i think this one was something like that the woman anticipated the results which messed her up

"the woman would respond to guy by saying that her theory was based on data she had gathered"- i think so but im not sure

"the word was italicized to show the guy's big scope of his skepticism
charge= endow"- yes and yes

"paradise word question- the guy was feeling too much emotion to sum up in just one word as he went home"- I think I wrote that he didnt know what a paradase really could be before this (im not sure exactly)

"answer= intense pleasure

answer= half-hearted humor

has special name "planning design"- humans conscoiusly planned this ugly modern architecture

what would disprove assertion- factory workers worked in flimsy, unsafe factories."- yes, yes, yes, yes

What did you get for the one with the art critic guy the last question which was something like "Which of the following things did the art critic NOT mention as being nessacery" I wrote an emotional connection but I wasnt sure

Also did you get disapproving for one of them?

Did you get confrontational for the relationship between wife of guy and her aunt?

Any more questions?

i got emotional connection

got confrontational

i got dismissive for an answer in the one about butterflies, i don't remember one wit disapproving but i'm not sure

"also, what the guy found wrong with paragraph about woman's experiment was that her experiment had bad statistical analysis"- i think this one was something like that the woman anticipated the results which messed her up"

I thought this one too for a bit but then realized that the fact that the woman anticipated the results didn't directly deal with that part of the experiment. that part of the passage had to do with how the experiment did not work well because some butterflies were to weak to fight the wind
she said specifically in that part of the passage that the statistics were flawed, and that's what the guy said in his paragraph, so I am pretty sure I'm right.

"paradise word question- the guy was feeling too much emotion to sum up in just one word as he went home"- I think I wrote that he didnt know what a paradase really could be before this (im not sure exactly)"

but the fact that he said feeling too much emotion to sum up in just one word "paradise" and that at the end of the passage he calls it home makes my answer seem right.

haha i proved you wrong you did do well on the critical reading (at least for some questions).

i hope not everyone found it easy, i don't want a lenient curve...

In the Butterfly passage Wenner's attitude was Dismissive
The endeavor was PAINSTAKING
Hey - does anyone know if the Q and A service is available for Sunday tests?

"In the Butterfly passage Wenner's attitude was Dismissive
The endeavor was PAINSTAKING"

For the dissmissive one, what were the other choices?

The endeavor was painstaking.

Keep on listing questions!

yeah i got those 2.

hitseeker, you realize that if hand graded your score is lower than the reported score, you get the lower grade?

also, if you're applying ed, I don't think that the q and a service would work in time for you to receive your ed decision, and I just think that it's a huge rip-off.

but if I got below a 690 in critical reading i' might do it anyways because I am pretty sure I did really well.

Is Q + A even available for the sunday tests?

Does anyone remember any more math ones? I need either a 680 CR or a 730 M and it doesn't look like I'm gonna get a 680 CR.

Was the one with the cube and the symbols, I think I wrote choice C. Also, the one that I thought was -.5 and someone else said -1.5, anyone else want to say what they wrote?

Anyone?
10char

got 62 for the one about blocks
