yeah, it's plausible to reason that each of the different tests will have a different curve, but that seems so unfair to me.

Why? it's just like having 3 SAT dated tests on one day. Having different content will obviously need different curves, I don't see why that is unfair.

Also, I'm pretty sure a LOT of people had fits with the hexagon problem, I wouldn't be surprised if -1 = 800

My test version didn't seem to have any bizzare math questions. None of them really messed with me. I don't even remember any questions from the long (non grid-in) math section. NONE!!! But I don't remember having any problem. ANything but 800 would make me mad.

I hated the math section. The hexagon question and the free response asking for the 23rd of something constant of something... I just sat there and stared at the question. I hope there's a curve for this section.

Oh wow. I thought the hexagon question was so easy. I answered eqi. triangle without much hesitation. Perhaps I am wrong, but I thought it was fairly simple. Oh well.

Hoping for a nice curve, but I doubt it. I think -1 will probably be a 760.

Lucky us. Doesn't really seem fair though. I'd rather have an easy section with a harsh curve than a hard section with a nice curve (it never seems to make up for it).

The only odd question, .30608=3/10^j+6/10^k+8/10^l what's j+k+l?

And once you see "it", the question is cake. There was a trick question about actual rates of changed compared to average rate of change but in reality it was a joke. Direct variation? Yawn. And a ton of "hard" questions about slope and slope intercept form. Nothing terribly tricky that I can remember.

Does anyone from my test remember any questions from long (no grid-in) math section. I don't remember ANY! What were some hard ones?

The fact that I didnt think twice on them makes me think they were easy. -1=780

i think -1 would be a 780, as usual. it's not like this month's math was insanely easy or anything. -2 SHOULD be a 760 but i wouldnt be surprised if it was a 770 or something

I thought the math was WAY easier than the March SAT so my hope is that it still gets a lenient curve :D

Little_Duck, did you finish the Math section? The reason I ask is that I felt the problems toward the end were hard, and I took the March SAT as well. Everyone is saying it's easy, but I felt challenged.

I had the hexagon version....I felt the first section of math was quite difficult. I finished it but I skipped quite a few. However the next 2 sections pretty chill for me. I think I was only unsure of a few questions. And a few were from the grid ins. I'm not aiming for a 700+ so skipping isn't that big a deal to me.

Maybe my math improved since March so that's why it felt easier but I can't really remember how hard it was in March. I did terrible though.

I know for a fact my math score will be higher than last time, I'm hopeful for at least a 100 point increase.
