November Curves - HELLLLLLLLL

I only got 3 wrongs on WR and 9 on essay and my score is 700..how is this fair ??
My raw score is 45.If I had 2 wrongs, the raw score would be 47.What would my score be ?

That is fair. My friend once got 2 wrongs and 10 on the essay and got 720.

^^If this is correct,College board deserves to be burned !

In June I got 3 errors on Math ==>710
Now I got 3 errors on WR ==>700…

and by the way, I got 2 erros on Math and 2 omits and got 690. My score should really be the same as yours since theres no points taken off for omits.
So your score is fair. Its just that Collegeboard sucks so much.

dude writing curve is always like that
i had 4 wrong and a 10 for my essay and i got a 720
i took it in june

I got 3 wrong, 10 essay in October and got 720. In Math I got 2 wrong and got 740 in June.

I hate the CollegeBoard with a passion :P

I got 3 wrong + 8 for essay = 700 score. Not sure how you have the same score with a 9 essay. :/

I had the same score, may 2009… it sucks… even for CR in dec 2008 I got 14 wrong and scored 640, then in may 2009 I got 11 wrong and only went up 10 points… I was kind of lucky for Math tbh, I’ve always had lenient curves for that. I messed up bad first time, 8 wrong and 2 omit, and got 660 which is really lenient. Second time I was prepared so got 800 with no mistakes, but I heard -1 was 800 and -2 was 770 so the curve was good again. Anyone know how they come up with these curves? and btw in May -2 + 9 essay in W was 740… -1 + 9 essay was a 780 or 770 cant remember and then 800 obviously

The worst part is that I got 2 wrong on improving sentences … which is very odd because I hardly missed one during practice tests.I guess one of the errors was on the last section when I was running out of time…

1 wrong and 8 essay –> 720. :|

1 Wrong & 12 essay…800. The essay counts more than you think.

btw my 1st time i got 0 wrong 7 essay for a 750, so that just proves my essay theory =)

Well, I took the international test. That`s why my curve is different. The International November 2009 test was the US March 2009 test !I remember people discussing a particular question here, everybody agreed on an answer except for me.I saw this question, this improving sentences question, and I GOT IT WRONG !!

Still,I think 700 is not that bad for a non-native speaker

LOL!!!
For this Nov test, I had 10 essay and 40 MC and got 670. Lulz.
Math 700 3 wrong omit 2

yeah, i did not like the curve on the test,
i missed 4 with a 10 essay = 710

You guys seriously don’t understand the SAT…
There is meant to be a ton of spread near the top, as opposed to the ACT.

I got 1 wrong on W, 9 on the essay, and got an 800.

I got 1 wrong on M, and got an 800.

I missed 4 on CR, and got a 740.

The tests are curved according to the amount of distribution that Collegeboard wants to see

2 wrong and missed 2 on Math

720
