November SAT Curve Predictions (Form with Quantum Physics)

I'm a bit surprised a thread dedicated to curve predictions hasn't been created yet. I had trouble trying to find curve predictions in other cluttered threads, so here it is. Post your predictions for each subject.

I'll go first, and if everyone could follow suit in terms of formatting, that'd make things clutter free and easy to read.

Math:

700

Reading:

Writing

70

If that’s the reading curve I will be incredibly mad.

I may very well be wrong. Us people on CC thought the vocab was easy as balls since almost all of it was from DH. The passages were fairly easy…but I mean honestly, I think they were a bit too easy for even an easy (green) curve. What do you think?

I mean I thought this one was harder than the last one I took… and really that is wayyyyyy too harsh in my opinion. The passages were harder but the vocab was easier so I think it balances out to a medium curve. But mostly I want the curve to be -2 = 800 because I have -2…

get on chat

Well, I’m irked that I got one wrong in the 2 sections I checked. Hopefully I didn’t make any other stupid mistakes

Gensis, how many times have you taken the SAT. Totally off-topic, I’m just wondering because this is the first time i took it and I felt I did horrible. Partially because I am extremely paranoid.

This is my second time. The first time I scored:

Math : 710 (darn you math)
Reading: 740
Writing: 800

On Oct. Now THAT CR was brutal :(

Don’t worry. I beat myself up over Math too. But now I think of it this way. If I had gotten 800 in math, I wouldn’t have taken it again, and I wouldn’t have done well on this test.

There’s always a bright side. You just have to look for it.

Dipole- IS that your prediction of the International Curve? Acc. to a few CCers, Int. Nov. 2010 test was slightly difficult. I don’t agree with that though. I thought the difficulty level of both National and Int. tests taken on the same day would be similar :/

Genesis, didn’t you state that the math curve was -1 790 based on the pdf.? If so that would be so cash, even if it were bumped down to only 780.

I also hope that CR curve is right. Even though it did seem pretty easy over all, two of those farm questions got me.

While I hope for a good curve I think it will be -1 800 / -2 790 CR and -1 780 Math.

@gensis r u a senior or a junior
math is right

also this is what the CR curve is -2 800 and a raw of 58 700.

shahdin: how are you so sure?

The quantum physics one was my experimental reading in March 2010 haha.

I’m really hoping for a -2 = 800 curve, but so far everyone seems to think its too easy for that.

my friend took this test in nov 05, he had a 700 with a raw of 58, which means -2 was 800

What about the writing curve? And I think if a 58 = 700, then it will be a -2 = 800 curve. However, our test was still different, as we had the carribean section.

true but the carribbean one was def not too easy he had a 43 raw 8 essay giving him a 680 so its def generous , could u answer my question in the CR thread lol

How many did he miss to get the scaled score? The scaled is the thing on the left of ex. 80/12

he got 6 wrong, 44 but u have to subtract 1.5 giving 43 and he had an 8 essay

also 43 MC score was 70
