November SAT math section

Is it just me, or was the math today incredibly hard? The only reason I signed up and paid the $94 dollars to be on the waitlist was to get my math up...and I think I'll be lucky if I break 500. I literally skipped 10 or more questions total. It was brutal, man.

All of the hard ones were geometry based (in my opinion), which happens to be my weakest point in math (which already is my weak point on the SAT). I feel like I got everything else right as I was extremely cautious with bubbling/calculators/reading-the-question but I know I missed two questions (one grid-in, one MC omission), so I’m expecting around a 750. I usually get around 780 to 800.

I feel like I may have aced the critical reading and the writing (depending on my essay) or got really close to an 800, so I’m very happy.

I’m a Junior and this will be my first score, so I’m really not concerned.

So yes, the math was harder than usual, at least for me.

I’ve been wondering how much the SAT fluctuates in difficulty. While I’ve seen some tricky math problems here and there, I’ve never seen an SAT that seemed significantly easier or harder (IMO).

I know you will hate me for saying this, but I thought it was much easier than the October one.

Haha it’s okay. I just generally suck at math! I think I may have gotten a perfect score on writing, but who knows.
