Wow, i thought the CR was really easy this time..
Writing was aceeee
Math was so so

I don't want to predict my scores... but I thought Math was way easier than last time I took it (May). I did all the questions, at any rate. :P Writing is always easy for me.. I got a 770 last time and I just hope it didn't go down too far this time. I'm heinous at critical reading, so I'm hoping for high 600s... who knows.

Question - someone said they would be ****ed about a 2380. Does a score any higher than a 750 in each section actually give you any advantage at any school besides like, Caltech?

My Predictions:

Math: 650
Reading: 580

Writing: 540

1770

My First Scores:

Math: 610
Reading: 640

Writing: 550

1800

Cheers. As far as I understand, schools take the best of each, so we'll see. Im best in the entire school with the first set of scores. Thats what happens when you go to a public school in the slums.

.....and thats why the valedictorian wants to go to a community college. Its pretty much all rigged, because the current "valedictorian" has family on the school board, she doesnt really make honor roll, AND she has a math and reading score total of like a 950.

lame. Especially when im trying to get into carnegie mellon. (yeah right.......)

Math: 780
Reading: 660
Writing: 640?

Math: 800
CR: 760
Writing: 780 (11 Essay)

Comp: 2340

Well, I'm gonna look like an idiot compared to the guy (or girl) who posted before me:

CR: 700
Math:750 (PLEASE!)
Writing: 680

I'm hoping:
M 730
CR 770
W 800

This SAT Preparation forum is aptly named. It prepares me to face disappointing SAT scores.

I am now prepared because of the SAT Preparation forum to face my atrocious socre.

(I'm a sophomore, so I have time to work on my scores. Took it this year for magnet school admissions)

Goal: 2000 (I would just barely beat the magnet school SAT average)
Realistically: 1900

If I get <2100 I'm going to retake in January... translation: I'm going to be retaking it in January.

What I expect (hope) as an SAT n00b:
CR: 700
Math: 650 (Yay stupid mistakes and forgetting calculator)
Writing: 600 (Yay messing up the essay)

~1950 :(

Reading: 700
Math: 740
Writing: 720

total: 2160

mediocre (for a cc'er), but it will certainly validate my PSAT score, which is what I need.

it'll be interesting to see who overestimated and who underestimated. I have a feeling more people on this board tend to overestimate their scores...hmm

CR - 800
Math - 800
Writing - 800 (11 E) (-1 MC)
I am 100% I got this score.

yeah i agree i'm feeling a little more pessimistic about it now
i'm thinking
E 760
M 780
W 730 (8-9 essay)
=2270
which I don't really want
I'll be content with 2300+
Stoked with 2330+
2360+ and i'll definitely be awwwright

^ good luck, I'm hoping for the same in Dec :)

^I'm just playing :P - I didn't even take the reasoning this November. Your actual positive comment to my post makes me hope you get a 2400 as well :D.
