November SAT- VERSION TWO- Swimmer and Painting version

What would 2 MC wrong, and one grid in wrong be for math?

thank you so much…!!!

So, George Washington passage was experimental? Damn. That one was easy :(

Does anyone remember the writing questions about Charlotte Bronte and her sisters?
Was it “either” or “both”

Also, does anyone recall the hygiene one in regards to our society?
I think the right answer was “us…something something of a society”

Can anyone confirm?!

It believe it was either. For the second one you’re right. It was something along the lines of "us becoming a more hygienic society. What was the one about the litmus paper? And the one about salaries…was it double?

For salaries I put double and for the litmus paper, it was “they change the color of the leaves” or something like that.

What was the last MC for the grid in math section?

The answer choices were x/y, y/x, xy, y^2, and sqroot(y)

And was the rectangular new volume 40,000?

I can’t quite remember which one I put although I remember it was either C or D. Is that what the answer you put was?

y/x I think and yea it was 40,000

@quaker I put x/y which was A :(

what was the answer to the “find k” question? i got 4

I got the last multiple choice before the grid in as Sqrt(y)… wasnt it something about the total cost of x people is y for each. What is the cost for each if there are x^2 people? Not saying im right at all. This was very iffy about

It was 4. That was the one where 3x - 4y = k right? and then (2k, 5) is on the line?

I know it was either y/x or x/y. I can’t remember which one I put but it was B or C I think.

can you explain why?

It was either for the Bronte one. And for the hygienic one, it was the shorter answer. “too hygienic a society” instead of “us becoming too hygienic of a society”

Yeah, If there were 5 people (x=5) paying a total amount of 100$, the number for each person would equal 20 (y=20 because 100/5=20). Now, if we square the original value of x we get 25 people paying 100$ so y would equal 4. Take the original x and y and you’ll see that y/x=4. (20/5=4)

It was y/x. If x people pay y dollars, how much will x^2 each have to pay? So if there are 7 people(x) and 28 dollars, they spend 4 each(y). If there are 49 people(x^2) and 28 dollars, they spend 57 cents each(y/x, 4/7=28/49).

I dun goofed

@erratic are you sure that the one for hygiene was “too hygienic a society”? The sentence went something like …primarily caused by [Insert Answer]. I feel like the choice you put was lacking a preposition like “of”. Is it grammatically correct to say “It was too hygienic a society”?
