I’m an international student who applied to Harvard and took a November SAT II Subject Test. Getting better results than I expected, I decided to rush report the scores to Harvard, which were sent on 29 Nov (according to Collegeboard). However, up till now Harvard’s application status portal still does not reflect the receipt of my additional test score. Should I call them to ask if anything’s wrong? Is anyone else experiencing similar problems?
It takes about 1-2 weeks for changes to be reflected in Harvard’s portal, as the process is not automated. A person in the file room must go through the notifications, find your Subject Tests from the College Board, add your new scores to your file – both the electronic version and the physical version – and bring your file to your regional Admissions Officer. Then they update the portal. All of that takes time. So, nothing is wrong and there’s no need to call.
