Took my SAT2s in November. Should I rush scores to Brown?

It depends, if you are applying for RD then that is not necessary, normal reporting of the scores will be the same as a rush order, BUT if applying for ED the its too late the deadline passed.

Why is it too late? I thought brown accepted November SATs?

It’s not too late.

You should call the admissions office and ask them. I read something about how you should not rush your scores because they’re usually sent electronically which is instantaneous. If you rush them, they’re mailed which may end up taking longer. That might not be the case for Brown. I don’t know.

I will definitely call them. I also ordered 2 reports. 1 regular 1 rush. Problem was that cb screwed up. Going to call them too. Just with the holidays at the moment nobody’s there. Thanks for your help. If electronically the scores get released instantly that’d be perfect.

For ED or RD is NOT late!!! but Early Decision applicants are strongly urged to complete the SAT Critical Reasoning and Subject Tests by the October 10th test date.

ACTs and SATs are arriving via the internet - ACTs are delivered twice a week, SATs are delivered once a week, and rushed SATs are delivered daily.

For me it’s about ED

I have a similar question. I rushed by SAT2 scores from November, but how will I know that they’ve arrived seeing as I have already submitted previous SAT2 scores that have been acknowledged on my login page?

when you click on “colleges that got my scores” on cb, you’ll see the date the scores were sent. That’ll tell you whether scores from June or Oct or Nov test dates.

I think he’s asking how he can see on the Brown page which SAT scores they have.

FOR ED you need to have them taken by november, i think, and dont rush them! most school do not like that and College Board should just get rid of it. It takes longer for the school to recieve them. RD you have to take them by December so they can be in by January.

I took them on the November test date but College Board screwed up on my score report order and only sent off my October SAT1 scores but not my SAT2 scores when they should have, right when scores came out for me. I couldn’t call them because of the holidays. So now I ordered a rush score report and a normal one for Brown. I’m going to call Brown and College Board on Monday. I just hope my SAT2 scores arrive in time.

wow, that’s bad luck! i hope everything is okay with you!

Yeah that’s bad luck. Hopefully I can fix everything tomorrow.
