Novermber SATs

Columbia's website says that the latest date that you can take the SATs for early decision is November. But in all actuality will those scores be sent in time for the admissions process to seriously take them into consideration, or will the decision already be made by the time the scores arrive? Any input is appreciated.

well they said they would take them and if you notified that you want your november score considered, so i'm hoping so.. they should keep their words!

How do you communicate that you want your November scores considered?

Don't worry; they don't start reading apps until late November. Scores take a couple of weeks.

I looking at the college board site a few minutes ago, and they said they sent scores in 2-day priority mail to make sure there reach colleges in time for ED/EA.

Although I already had two SAT IIs and an SAT I score available, I nontheless indicated that the tests were to be taken (in the app.) so that they would wait for the results.

How about SATs taken i january for RD; will they be considered/reach them in time?

I've talked to reps about this; they say not to "rush" scores, because the scores are then sent in paper format, which actually take longer to reach the school. If you took the SAT's in November, you should be fine.
