Now for the Important Questions - Which of the restaurants within 'Little Italy' next to Fordham are most recommended and preferred?

Its a matter of personal preference. I have eaten at several. Some small, some large. All are excellent. There are the most familiar and the small ones. Some are also excellent for lunch, btw. And some have late night specials for students. Mario’s, Pasquales, Roberto’s, Umberto’s.

Some other choices are: Zero Otto Nove (same owner as Robertos, but cheaper and informal), Michelangelo, Antonio’s (a block or two off Arthur Avenue). As you can see, many good choices. It’s really nice for students (and for visiting parents) to have those places close by. If you live close enough, you can also shop for fresh homemade pasta, mozzarella, pastries etc. to bring home.

Zero Otto Nove is my favorite. The pizza is delicious and great to share in a big group. The food comes out really quickly too, which is nice because after you walk all the way from campus to Arthur, you’ll find that you’re a longer hunger than you imagined.
