Now I Know There Was A Mistake!!!

I just looked at my score report and I just couldnt believe my eyes. Its full of bs. In the math section it claims I omitted ELEVEN questions when i know for a fact that I only omitted 1. Argh I was so sure my score was wrong!
You might say "Mb you could've filled out the ovals wrong" but that wouldnt cause more to be omitted! Instead, it would cause more to be wrong!
Either the machine didnt pick it up or a wrong answer sheet was assigned to me.
What else could it be?

Request hand scoring

yeah thats what ill do prolly.

Definitely get hand-scoring, something clearly went very wrong.

did you bubble in the grid-in sections? there are 10 of them, and if you omitted 1, POSSIBLY that could be why you got 11 omits on it.

Hey, OP, DEFINITELY request handscoring. This same exact thing happened to me last year after the April exam; according to them I omitted 11 math questions. I had them handscore and after a few months I learned that they had indeed been mistaken, and my math score ended up being 70 points higher. Go with your gut; you'd know if you had omitted 11

You might have bubbled the grid-in questions on the wrong page. I almost did that, but I realized my mistake before the test ended luckily. If you don't know what I'm talking about... You know how there's a page on the answer sheet for section 2&3&4, another for 5&6&7 and so on? (or is it only two sections on one page? anyway..) Well, if your grid-in questions were on section 2, 3, or 4, then you have to fill in the answers on THAT PAGE of the answer sheet, if it was on 5, 6, or 7, then on THAT PAGE... (I accidentally filled in the answers on the first page when my grid-in section was section 5, so I copied my answers to the next page.) That might be what happened. It says on the answer sheet that they don't give you credit if you mark the wrong page for the grid-ins, but maybe they'll give you credit if they hand-score it? Wish you luck!

that's so crazy then, just think about how many people's sat may be better than what it was!! so omg, that's so rediculous.

err... i got 10 omitted in math as well, when i didn't omit any at all. christ, don't tell me i grid-inned on the wrong page...

ugh I srsly hope thats not what went wrong. If it is, then I hope to god that the hand-scoring will give me credit for them even though I gridded them in the wrong place o.-

Why are the SATs making such a fus about using n02 pencils these days?

mechanical pencils are too sharp, too convenient, and MUCH too dangerous.
watch out for the 0.5 lead - he's especially nasty.

the machines are probably not picking up the scantron markings where stressed out kids are stabbing the page with their mechanical pencils, causing delays in score reports

at least we get SUPER COOL COLLEGEBOARD PENCILS!!!! : D ?!

lol, nectarine. I recommend that you get a handscoring as well, its sad how many mistakes college board makes. 600th post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
