now is this a new method???

something very weird is happening in my country. 3 packages were delivered to the same mailing address today.....what can this mean??!??!???

according to arihant:

all the packages are being sent to a regional coordinator who is in turn disbursing those packages. so all those three packages mightave gone to the regional coordinator

cheer up!!

which country btw?

ARGH...hopefully i will receive it tomorrow then

huh????? ....explain pls

there are only 4/5 applicants from Hong Kong though...why would they send it to a regional coordinator?

i want my 500th post to be my decision (hopefully an acceptance)

so im not posting anymore ppl

all the best with your decisions.. do not lose hope!

OMG qwerty!

Hong Kong and Taiwan are in the same branch!

Is it possible that they're bulk mailed together!!!

OMG! oasis, how do u know HK and Taiwan are in the same branch?
maybe this explains why 3 packages were delivered.

Oh a Pton adcom told me during an info session. He says a lot of "Far Eastern countries" are lumped together because they don't receive many applications from each country.

Maybe THIS explains why no one in Taiwan got UPSed! I'm thinking at least someone should get in from Taiwan (come on, we have 3 really competitive international schools - and I'm from the least competitive of them..haha)!

so it still might take a while before we get anything...:(

They are mailing admission Packages, not mangoes. Packages are mailed individually and not to some regional associate.

Then why would people get 3 envelopes?

maybe triplets:P

That'd be really awesome.

Heck, if I'm the adcom I'd admit all of them =)

*unrelated: dude, qwerty, I love HK but I don't usually go there even though it's only an hour away from Taiwan...you have some amazing food there...haha I'm craving for dimsum. =/

haha I've never been to Taiwan..but hopefully will visit someday;)

Anyway, the anticipation is killing me!!!!!AHHHHH! do u think we've actually been deferred/rejected? or r we believing that some random guy in Kowloon will be redistributing the mail?
As abhishiv said, why wouldnt they send them individually? they certainly did it for canada.

Maybe we're all deluded...maybe 3 people put the Kowloon address as their mailing address...=/

yeah...thatz what i first thought. but the same person signed each package haha. they are really messing with our heads. i want to try calling right now, but i cant bring myself to do it.

Me neither. I don't want a rejection over the phone...nor a deferral. It would just seem too surreal. I rather have the evidence hard in front of me.

I already 99% think I'm deferred or rejected, but somehow there's still that 1% of hope lurking within me. =/

thats it. im just going to wait for my e-mail or the mail to come.sick and tired of speculating.

i've called

i've been deferred.
