Now or wait another year?

<p>I am a HS junior. Is there a reasonably good chance to apply now or should I wait another year? EA or RD? Thanks.</p>

<p>Your numbers are good enough, and with good essays, you would be very competitive.
However, is there anything that you could/are planning to do senior year that would make your application stronger?
I don't think there is anything stopping you from applying next year as well in case you don't get in this year. Go for it.</p>

<p>If you'll look back a little while in my threads, you'll see I started a thread that should be very applicable to you. In short, the advice I was given was unless you hate life at home, find something fun/productive/both to do senior year, and apply to caltech normal time, because there's no real benefit in being a normal frosh early.</p>

<p>There are not many more math/science courses in high school left for you to take. You should apply now.</p>
