Courses: 11 Aps, 5 aps senior year (chem, comp sci, calc BC, government) independent study on physics C. scored 5 in psych, 4 in euro, american, physics B, english language
ECs:
1st chair, 1st seat trombone, all county for only one year. District ORch, pit orch
mathletes
class council
student council
5 honor societies. President of science and VP of math.
Alot of small other ECs
Tutored here and there, earned about 50 hours of honor society volunteering</p>

<p>During the summer I did the Columbia Summer Program for genetics and molecular bio
I also work around 8 hours a week at a Kumon center teaching math and reading</p>

<p>Around 100 hours of volunteer at local hospital and 50 hours at a psychosocial club dealing with members with mental problems
Reccs: should be very good
Essays: should also be very good</p>

<p>Based on your list, you have a great chance. You have solid grades, solid rank, solid scores, tough schedule, leadership roles, research experience, musical ability, and potentially good recs and essays. I don't know why you wouldn't be accepted, but no one knows how competitive the RD field is this year or who the almighty admissions officers are looking for. All you can do now is apply and be confident.<br>

<p>I'd say you've got a really good chance. If you do pull off good essays and recs, you shouldn't worry.</p>

<p>where is your major? that's an important factor since you have to apply to one.</p>

<p>im doing biological sciences, but i put biology and society as my second choice</p>

<p>your chances just decreased with that major but you're still a strong candidate. good luck!</p>
