Now That I Am 18, I Can.....

When I'm 17, I'm going to regret not being 18.

But, that won't stop me from doing what my heart desires.

YOU DECIDE.

I can only guess what your original message was, but I think I got the general idea. As far as I'm aware you have no intimate knowledge of the morals of the people who posted on this thread. It's easy for you to make assumptions, but judging us based on a few words is ludicrous. I smoke hookah on occasion, but that doesn't make me a loser crackwhore with no plans for life. I'm a straight-A student at a competitive school. I don't drink, do drugs, or smoke cigarettes. That doesn't mean that I won't drink in the future; I'll probably try pot once or twice, but that's about it. The key word in this case is character. That includes (but is not limited to) moderation, self-respect, and a sense of one's own boundaries.

I think I prefer that to a black-and-white, rigidly moralistic viewpoint, thanks very much.

Actually, I typed stars originally. I was poking fun at the system.

Follow you're own advice ; )

Haha, sorry ... that's vaguely embarrassing. I was so ready for a disparaging remark.
