Now that it's official

What schools did you turn down in order to go to UCSB?

For me it was
SJSU (easy decision)
SFSU
CSULB (not so easy)

I turned down: UC Santa Cruz, UC Davis, Long Beach State, Cal Poly Pomona, and San Diego State

UCI, SLO, Miami U @ OHIO

I turned down:

 • SJSU
 • SDSU
 • UCSC
 • Cal Poly SLO (hardest to turn down, almost equal to UCSB in my book)

^
That’s how I felt about CSULB. But whatever I’m not into regret.

I turned down UCSD. Haha, that’s it!

Harvard…Princeton…and Yale…

UC Davis (hard choice), UC Irvine, UC Santa Cruz

CalPoly Pomona…the easiest decision EVER

I turned down: San Fran State (got a free ride…so very slightly hard to turn down), Long Beach State, Cal Poly SLO (kinda hard to turn down…but I’m not 100% sure of my major), UCSC, UCSD (hardest to turn down…but I got over it after 1 second haha)

But, UCSB was “ranked” above all of these in my personal college list (behind just Stanford and I didn’t get in there…actually almost happy about that).

So yeah! UCSB here I come!!

SF State ha ha.

CU
University of Richmond
University of Virginia
University of Michigan
Syracuse
Colorado College

UC Berkeley.

Nyu
uci
csulb

boston university
u rochester

UCSC, UCD, UCM, UCR, Cal Poly Pomona

Pretty easy decision, if I got into UCSD it would have been harder, but I still think I would have ended up at UCSB, that school is intoxicating…literally hahaha

LETS PARTY! and get our school work done of course

SDSU
CAL POLY SLO
and
BERKELEY

not even kidding.

UCLA, USC, UCR, Davis…Go Gauchos!

SDSU (not too difficult because it was too far about 10 hour drive)
Santa Clara University ( I was in love with this school until i found out it costs $50,000 a year, no thanks)
UCSC (This was my second choice if I didnt get into ucsb, this was my hardest choice)

Apparently I am turning down UCSD too. Last week I went online and received a rejection notice. So I finalized things with UCSB. Today I received an acceptance letter from UCSD. After the whole false acceptance email fiasco you’d think they would get it together. With a campus of full nerds you’d think they could figure this kind of thing out. Oh well, I like Santa Barbara better anyway.
