^ Of course, hehe, "DUFFMAN CAN'T BREATH, OH NO!", and thank you for the input.

Any other input, and again, thank you all very much thus far.

i can't evaluate your chances (i'm an international, have nooo idea about those schools:))...but..as you complained that nobody loves you..
an insert from my bio:
......debating KP,KPP,comparative policy, british parl.,american parl...
country's best speaker, 2 years in a row
won the team's national in KP,KPP and comparative(couldn't take part in parl. ones cause they are for univ. students only)
was a member of the national team for IDEA ymf, this year
coached middle school debaters for 1,5 years, founded the club in the school i used to go to.
president of the school debate club(2 years)
started coaching high school this year, team leader for 2 intern.tournaments
will probably be the team leader for IDEA 2006
president of school goverment

...and roman catholic (minority in the country (about 1%))

so...having in mind that we obviously share the same passion and that you have 369 NFL how could I possibly not love you, LOL :))))))

sorry if i'm filling your thread with things that don't help you, but I just found those same things in our bios amusing:))

^ Hehe, that's awesome, good to see a fellow debater, there are so few it seems anymore that are actually competitive in non-interpretive events. BTW: What country are you actually from?

yeah,that's true..:)
btw: are you planning to attend world schools this year?

hehe I'm from Serbia&Montenegro, but mixed origin(mum's german) and i also lived on NZ for a while..:)

^ Wow, that's incredibly interesting, are you looking into Tufts at all, I'm applying there and they have a BIG international appeal/# of international students.

sure, tufts's on my list as well..so is that your top choise or..what is??

^ Yeah, pretty much, Tufts and Boston College.

Anyone else have input? I went to a Tufts info session the other night and loved it, I'm glad that I applied ED, hopefully I have a chance there...

Since I have seen your other chances thread and this may be your last chances thread. I'll give my input. You will get into all those schools you listed.

Hey I'm also a debater. Its my first year and so I'm a novice. Hey maybe you can help me out in debate and if you want to give some advice PM me.

^ Of course, anytime! Thank you for the input.

Duffman your stats are almost identical to mine and we are applying to similar schools:

American
UGA
Tufts
UW-madison
BU
Umich
GA Tech

for me...

I think Tufts will be tough for you but the other schools you are probably in easily.

I dont know how your school weights, but your weighted GPA is higher than mine, but my SAT is higher and i have more AP's. Its funny though because we are almost identical applicants, both with improving GPA as well.

and your rank is higher. How tough is your school in terms of average SAT?

It's pretty low in terms of SAT scores, we have excellent students and they are quite competitive, but they simply aren't good test takers, I'd say I'm in the top 15-20 of my class in terms of ACT score. How many AP's have you taken?

ive taken 6

US - 5
Europe - 5
Eng Lang-3
Bio - 4
World - 5
Human Geo - 5

and I have 7 classes (maybe 8 tests) this year.

But I dont think they mean much in admissions anyway.

^ Nice, I was thinking about taking Human Geo. this year, but I'm not so sure. I'm just banking on my ED I and continuous contact with Tufts to help me have a chance there, as I REALLY want to go there.

Bump, anyone else?

Any further input, I truly pray that I get into Tufts ED!

Any other input guys?

Thank you!

Ben

Is anybody home.....

BTW: The CSS Profile for those who have "dead beat" dad's is the biggest pain ever, each college wants extensive legal and ecclesiastical documentation of the father having no contact and not sending any support, it's ridiculous....oh well, such is life.
