i think no one is responding b/c they have no idea what ur chances r at those schools. if this was a HYPS everyone would quite have the idea.
i also have no idea about those schools u mentioned.

They're pretty popular schools, how can no one on this entire forum have any insight into what it takes to get into them, lol. Oh well...

im confused..i thoguht u couldnt apply EA if u apply ED?

oh yea and based on what i know...

BC - EA- maybe
BU - RD- probably in
University of Richmond - RD- no idea
Tufts - ED I- sorry
GW - RD- maybe
American - RD- probably in
Tulane - EA- probably in
Wake Forest - RD- no idea
Catholic U of America - EA- no idea
Brandeis - RD- no idea

^ You can apply ED to one school and EA to as many as you want, provided that none of them have stipulations, like G-Town says you can't, Princeton, etc have Single Choice Early Action, but BC, Tulane, and Catholic have no restrictions, nor does Tufts. Thanks for the input!

ok cool..we're applying to a lot of the same schools...bu, bc, tulane, gw, tufts

^ Weird, why are you applying to those completely random schools like me, lol?

they have my program (communications- except for tufts but i love that school so much that ill just minor in it) and theyre in good cities which is a must have for me...im also applying to nyu, northeastern, syracuse, pennstate, and geneseo..yea i know geneseo and syracause arent good cities but one has one of the best communications programs and the other is a safety

duffman, are you considering georgetown at all??

^ Well, honestly, it's one of my favorite schools, and I'm a legacy, sort of (Grandfather, Uncle), but I'm just fairly certain I don't have a chance there with my stats.

pepgirly, have you considered Emerson for communications - in Boston, and it could be a sort of safety for you.

Oh, so, any other input on the schools I'm applying to? Particularly BC, Tufts

yea I have...but i heard it was mainly theater people

is that true?

^ Not really, it does have strong theater, but my uncle went there for film/communications and he had a great experience there, this was about 20 years ago, but I'm sure it still holds true, it's a fine institution for communications. What type of communications are you looking at, broadcast, political, or simply in general?

Any other input? heh

mass communications...i want to go into advertising

thanks for the info ill be sure to look into it

how come youre not applying there?

^ Emerson? Because I plan on majoring in International Relations/Poli Sci or Peace Studies....and although they have the intriguing Political Communications major, which is nice, they don't offer those majors.

Any other input?

Thanks!

BUMP.....I hate going to school so early...

So Ben...just curious...which of those schools do you consider to be your "financial safety?"

^ Catholic U., I've talked to them already, and I have told you before that my father has provided us with no aid, we own nothing, and our EFC is LUDICROUSLY low. So, Catholic will not only give me merit-aid, they will also provide me with a decent chunk of need-aid because I applied Early Action.
