now that princeton only needs 2 sat ii's...

should i bother taking the bio one i signed up for in december? i haven't taken bio since last fall so i probably would need to do a lot of studying to get a good score. i already have:

us history - 710
lit - 730

should i waste my time studying for the bio? would it make a difference? despite the requirement, do most competitive applicants take 3+/is there any real benefit from taking more than 2?

If you already paid for it, why not? You may get better than your 710 in us history so that means you could send your bio score instead of your history one.

You might as well. If you don’t do too well, then just don’t send it- but it’s only about an hour and a half to two hours of your time by the time you bubble in everything and complete the test, so just go for it.

well some schools i’m applying to require that you send all scores. so if i didn’t do well, it could hurt, right?

It depends o the colleges you are applying to…does all of 'em just require two SAT Subjects??

yeah, princeton was the only one that–before–required 3.

^ Harvard requires three.
