Now that scores are official out, who has still not recieved them?

My scores still aren't out. I checked 5 am sharp and now 7 am and still nothing.

Who else is still like this

I did not take the essay btw

Mine are still not up either.

check at 9

I just checked and mine were up

Mine's not up either. Location: Canada.

lOCATION: New York

still not up, getting impatient -.-

I woke up at 6:15, didn't get em, maybe friday.

Location: San Francisco, but took it at Berkeley

And why would checking at 9 help? Didn't they already post everything over the course of the night? Does it take a while for it to render or something?

everybody who was at my test center has already got their scores back except me. even the peopel who took it in the same room have!

this is injustice by the collegeboard!

mc3: Collegeboard doesn't administer the ACT.
Chances are, the reason you haven't gotten your ACT scores might be that your information (name, address, etc.) on your exam sheet doesn't match your actual information.

mine are still not uppp...ughhh!

No, stone_cutter, that is not true.

If you read their explanation for why some scores are delayed, ACT, Inc. claims that it is because of incorrect information entered, such as name, address, etc.

ACT FAQ : What can cause scores to take longer?

But... That is some sort of cover-up. Because prior to December 2007, all scores were released on one specific date. Then, in December 2007, there were MAJOR delays (with no apparent explanation), and since then ACT, Inc. has been giving a range of release dates instead of one specific day.

Look at all the people in this thread who still haven't gotten their scores. From my test center, the 3 or 4 other people I've talked to so far still haven't gotten their scores either.

Are you proposing that everyone at my test center and everyone in this thread messed up their ID information? How come we didn't mess it up for the SAT? Or AP?

No. This is just how the ACT works. For some reason they upload the tests in batches instead of all at once, and many people receive their scores at various times.

"No, stone_cutter, that is not true.

If you read their explanation for why some scores are delayed, ACT, Inc. claims that it is because of incorrect information entered, such as name, address, etc."

That's... exactly what I said. lol

Right. And if you keep reading my post, you'll see that I went on to explain that what ACT says is a lie.

Or perhaps it's true: certainly, some people enter their ID information incorrectly. But the vast majority does not, and there are way too many delays, especially from one test center (usually an entire test center receives its scores at the same time) to justify that.

in february, my scores didn't come up until noon friday after the "official" wednesday release.

They are posted by the date they arrive in Iowa

I agree with stonecutter on this one

Me and my sister have always taken the ACT together in the SAME test center and in the SAME room. Everybody in the test center and my room has got their scores except me. This also happened to me in Febuary and in April. To make sure that this did not happen again i made sure that i did not put in the incorrect information, as i know i am not that careless.

You think that the ACT is using our scores for secret purposes, like making new tests or tracking the average increase of a student? Do you think they are doing something with them that we are not told about?

Yes, the ACT is involved in a covert conspiracy opertation in which our scores are sold to illegal underground networks such as the College Board in an attempt to avoid exploitation and scandal...

yeah i think they take the scores of the peopel who have not recived them to a secret bunker in the middle of french polynesia, where statisicans and mathmaticians model new ACTS with armored gaurds protecting them 24/7. They are excluded from all forms of communication. They have coclear implants which allow the college board to make sure that they do not divulge any information about the tests. If they do, they are immeadidly nuetrilized.

Also the location of the facility where they make ACT's is top secret. It is known only to the high ranking members of the college board. When they transport you from Tahiti they give you a powerful tranquilizer to make sure you dont know where the pricize location is.

But if you guys have a better theory, i would love to hear it.

no way dude the same thing happened to me. i have not recived my scores but my older brother has. something is spelling fishy.
