Now that the dust has settled, does anyone MISS waiting for college decision?

<p>The excitement is over. The wait is over. We all know where we are going. Remember the times when we contemplated different schools? Imagined ourselves in different, exotic environments? :D. Occasionally, I will find myself leafing through my documents to re-open admissions decisions from various colleges (I saved the decisions webpages). When I re-read my acceptances, I feel a tinge of exhilaration all over again.</p>

<p>Remember how you felt on <em>that</em> special day?</p>

<p>To the college class of 2015: Don't feel that the waiting/applying period is outrightly stressful and a low part of your lives. In fact, it is one of the best parts. You have tons of options right now. You can investigate many schools. You can still look forward to the excitement of opening your admissions decisions.</p>

How is it one of the best parts? You don’t have tons of options when you are merely waiting anxiously. And no, I don’t miss it and I’m thrilled that the stressful waiting period is over.</p>

<p>I miss it. I miss making college lists. They have options, as in, choosing schools to apply to.</p>
