i'm trying to gather how many people, after getting accepted/aid from NYU and comparing with offers from other schools, are most likely going to NYU, and if not, where are you going instead?

i was accepted, received $14,000 scholarship/$22,000 total aid, and i'm going to NYU :D

Accepted to Stern. $8,860 Stern Scholarship plus $9000 in work-study and loans (which I don't really count as financial aid). I really want to go, but I'm not 100% sure yet. I got more aid ($12000 grant) from Penn, but I got admitted to the College, and I think I'd rather study business. I guess I'm leaning towards Stern, but I'm not completely decided on either.

Yeah after getting rejected from Columbia and Cornell, NYU is now number 1 lol Stern 09'. Also, is there any way to like argue to get more fin aid? I got 10.5K scholarship from Stern, but BC gave me 14K. Isn't there a way to try and persuade NYU to give me more? Thanks.

did financial aid come with everyones acceptance letter? i didnt see anything regarding it so im assuming i didnt get anything but i know some schools send aid packages later

I still have no idea if I'm going. Its between NYU (CAS), Brown, and Cornell. I will be checking these schools out again. I've also been accepted to a few other schools, I'm not seriously considering. So yeah, I'm going to have decisions to make. I'm also waitlisted at Harvard, if that works out, this whole process will be a lot easier.

I don't think I'm going, since I got no aid whatsoever. At this point it looks like I'm off to Williams, though I'm waiting on Princeton, Chicago, Amherst, and if all else fails, I can latch onto Columbia's waitlist and desperately try to make them want me :P
