Hey guys!
So, now that you've been accepted what do you plan to do? How is Columbia going to get you where you need to be? How is Columbia going to help you make an impact on this planet?

Hey iyhowell nice to meet you (did you join the fb group yet lol?)
I plan to do political science/american history, and simultaneously go on the pre-med track if thats even possible haha

Columbia is going to offer me tons of resources no doubt (milliions of books, manuscripts, insightful/overtly qualified professors, peer stimulations) omg im getting excited just thinking about the small discussion based classes for Core Curriculum. Theres this vibe im getting right now haha

I’m going to try and reach out to the community, since volunteering was a big part of my high school career. start promoting literacy/environmentalistm or something. but columbia kind of … lets just say went under my expectations for financial aid lol, so i’m going to have to work or something during school weeks so i dont know how much time ill have on my own to make impacts through volunteering…we’ll see

join frats, partay. haha can’t forget that

yourself?

I’m interesting in doing political science, English, and human rights (talk about not being sure if it’s even possible!) P.S. I’m on the Facebook group! Our interests sound very similar. I have final papers for my two college classes due on Monday and Tuesday, but I just can’t concentrate haha.

Hey guys! I’m just so excited! I just joined the FB group and it got me really pumped. I plan to major in fine art (focusing mainly on drawing and painting) and I hope to have a concentration in Human Rights. I ardently hope that Columbia is the place that will allow me to meet other people who share my desire to mollify prejudice on an earthly scale and make a change for the better on this planet. Congratulations to everyone!
