<p>So I applied to Rice ED a couple of days ago and don't really know what to do now. I know this sounds like a silly question but am I finished with the application? I submitted the Common App, the supplement, the application fee, and the recommendations. Will they send me an e-mail or something notifying me that its done? I'm kind of in a frenzy here.</p>
<p>Rice will shortly email you your student id and a link to setup your ESTHER account. ESTHER is our student information system and you will be able to track your application status with it. Admissions will need some time to process everything, so don’t be alarmed if certain items do not immediately show up as received. If you want to check on receipt of an item now, you can call admissions.</p>

<p>If you want to be proactive and get a head start you can start working on your other college apps in case you are deferred, etc (although hopefully that won’t happen!). </p>
<p>Otherwise you will indeed just have to sit back, relax, enjoy senior year, and wait it out till December 15th.</p>
<p>P.S. - I remember getting my ESTHER login information and everything. It felt so legit. :D</p>
