now what??

Hi all. So I'm taking Oct test and my goal is
700 Cr,
750 Math, and
750 Writing.

And my question is I have done a lot of practice tests including every possible cb test that I got from tutor, bb, pr, pr 12 tests, barrons 2400, barrons CR workbook and writing workbook and now, I have no idea why I'm not getting 2200 on practice test.

I keep getting about 2100 on my practice tests and it's REALLY making me frustrated that i can't jump 2100.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?? or do you guys think I might have a chance of getting 2200 on real sat if I just continue to work until the test day?

Thanks!

just to add, on barrons 2400 cr passages, I get 1 or 2 wrong on each reading section.

what are u getting for M??
M is the easiest to get 800 i guess, yet somehow i always manage to get -1 or 2 ended up with a 760+ ~ but hey,its not that hard ~ if u're aiming 750 for M,might as well try 800~~

Yeah, 750 and 800 are pretty close. Even if you're an 800er, it's very difficult to not confuse 1 with -1 or 180 with 360 or something.

I've only managed to get 800 thrice, always end up with 750-790. :(

So anyway, Ren's right. If you're aiming for a 750, might as well go with an 800. If you feel that's too much for you ... then so is 750. Then, a more realistic goal would be 700. Just saying.

For critical reading, if you feel you don't always understand the words, improve your vocabulary (though it's really not possible with less than 2 weeks left). If you feel you just get bored, MAKE it interesting. Just fool your mind into it. For me, I keep treats every time I get 750+ in CR. You know, like a day off from SAT prep, or some nice ice cream soda. Whatever works for you to get your mind set.

For writing, just practise.
